The most recent raid to come to Destiny 2: Beyond Light is already quickly being ripped apart by players looking to make runs in as little time as possible, with as few players as possible. One of these major milestones has now been achieved by one clan only two weeks after Deep Stone Crypt was first beaten by players running the new raid completely blind.

This latest milestone comes courtesy of clan Elysium, an elite team of Destiny 2 players that regularly compete for Day 1 raid titles and later attempt challenge runs for the highest level activities available. In the case of the clan's most recent achievement, Elysium has managed to beat the final boss of Deep Stone Crypt with a team made up of only two players, solidifying this type of run from start to finish.

Completing this two-player run and defeating Taniks, the Abomination required a very specific build between the two players, where each one needed to repeatedly swap out their exotic gear in order to gain specific perks when needed. Two of these specific parts of the build include a Tractor Cannon for a speed boost, and the Titan's new Stasis subclass that can melee its way out of Taniks' detainment bubble. This latest challenge run of Deep Stone Crypt is also more than the standard achievement on its own, as it also finishes off the final milestone for players looking to take on the entire raid with a limited team.

As mentioned above, Elysium is a well-known clan for quickly tackling Destiny 2's toughest activities, and finishing off this final boss is the last phase of Deep Stone Crypt that the clan needed for a complete 2-player run. This means that the next logical step for the pro-players is likely to attempt a flawless run with the reduced team before each individual player begins strategizing for a solo run. Players looking for a taste of this glory can follow the strategy laid out in the run, performed by Saltegreppo and Quazz, if they want to test their skills with heavily reduced backup.

Looking forward at the possibility of a solo run of Deep Stone Crypt, it's likely that players will need to take advantage of some new bugs Beyond Light brought to Destiny 2. However, for now, players can still make it through the raid in a 2-player team without the need of too many glitches, instead making quick use of a full arsenal of legendary and exotic gear.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
