According to a report that was recently released by Bungie, the developer revealed that it was aware of Destiny 2 players being somewhat unhappy with the endgame content for the science fiction shooter, spurring the studio to work on solutions to the problem. While that may be the case for the playable content of the title, one can surmise that many are pleased by its soundtrack – particularly the drummer Andrew Fleming, who has released a fantastic drum cover of the game's "Battle Stations" song.

In order to amp up the production value of his latest video, which can be found below, Fleming recruited a new producer, Mason Bayne, for the clip. According to the video's description, Fleming wrote and performed the music, with Bayne recording and mixing the audio, while also filming and editing the video of the drummer tackling the Destiny 2 cover.

For those unaware, this version of Destiny 2's "Battle Stations" isn't Andrew Fleming's first outing when it comes to making drum covers for video game music. As it so happens, some of his previous work has included multiple songs from Destiny 1, Pokemon Green/Blue, as well as Sonic the Hedgehog's Green Hill Zone. While all of the aforementioned tunes are definitely top notch, Fleming's "Battle Stations" cover might be his most epic-sounding work yet.

All things considered, despite Destiny 2's dearth of compositions from Marty O'Donnell and its lack of a Paul McCartney music video, the arrangements for the sequel from Michael Salvatori, Skye Lewin, and C. Paul Johnson still sound great, which is further evidenced by Fleming's drum cover of "Battle Stations." Hopefully, Fleming will continue exploring the game's soundtrack for songs that will sound even better when enhanced by the heft of his abilities behind the kit.

Destiny 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it is set to launch on October 24, 2017 for PC.
