It’s a new week in Destiny 2, which means that all of the regular reset rotations have taken place including a new Nightfall Strike, a new Flashpoint, and most importantly a new raid challenge. This week, the Leviathan Raid’s challenge is the Pleasure Gardens, one of the hardest encounters in the endgame experience.

As with the Leviathan Raid challenges thus far, the Pleasure Gardens challenge is fairly simple but will require players to mix up their strategies depending on skill level and weapons. To complete the Pleasure Gardens challenge, the Prism holder cannot shoot a flower more than once per stealth phase.

For most Destiny 2 raid teams, the Pleasure Gardens challenge presents them with three options.

1. The Easy Strategy

The first option is going to be the one used by most teams, at least on the normal difficulty. Since the Prism holders can only shoot one flower each, the team will only get a 24x Empowering Spore buff. Even so, that should be enough to take out the 6 War Beats in the Pleasure Gardens in one damage phase. We recommend using Pulse Grenades and rocket launchers with cluster bombs to get this done.

2. The Two-Round Kill

The second option is a variation on the first but involves using two damage phases to get the job done. Get the 24x Empowering Spore buff, damage the War Beasts as much as possible, and return to the safe room. Then, on the second run, go for the kill with the buff. This is obviously the safer strategy and will be better for Leviathan on Prestige difficulty since there are 8 War Beasts to kill instead of 6.

3. Trading Prism Holders

The third option is also likely to be popular for Prestige raid runs and involves switching Prism holders. What the team will need to do is meet in the safe room after two flowers have been shot and switch the Prism holders with two spore holders. Then the team can go to two more flowers and get a 36 or 48x buff. This strategy is a bit more chaotic, but with limited safe room uses it is an option to consider.

The Pleasure Gardens challenge is unlikely to stump too many raid fireteams, assuming that they can regularly complete the encounter already. Out of all the Leviathan Raid encounters, the Pleasure Gardens is arguably the hardest, so this challenge could prove formidable.

Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
