Just a day after the launch of its second expansion, Destiny 2 has already hit a snag with the Crucible Matchmaking changes that were included in the new update.

The improvements that came with update 1.2.0 were aimed at helping solo players stand a better chance when matched against Fireteams. Because the new system isn't working as planned, Bungie has decided to revert the changes. Matchmaking will now work as it did before the update. Through the developer's official support Twitter, it has assured players that there will be updates on the status of the feature when more information is available.

The response to the situation is mixed, with some players applauding Bungie's efforts to remedy the issue expeditiously, while others are venting frustration that there is a day one issue at all. Bungie is no stranger to controversy and there are plenty of players in the Destiny 2 community that have a beef with the developer. For them, this just compounds the many issue affecting the game.

As far as other problems go, Bungie has managed to fix a lot of the bugs and balancing problems through the game's latest update. Most notably, Bungie has remedied the Wardcliff Coil glitch that a number of players were abusing. The glitch would provide extra power ammo to players when switching between the rocket launcher and a different power weapon, allowing them to solo difficult strikes.

Unfortunately, for Bungie, players have managed to find another glitch using the Rat King exotic sidearm that does more or less the same. The major difference is that this exploit is situational and requires more than one player to make it work properly. While that still isn't ideal for Bungie, at least players won't using it to solo Nightfalls.

Bungie definitely has its work cut out for it, but hopefully the company will be able to remedy these issues soon.

Destiny 2: Warmind is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
