While a plethora of Guardians are almost assuredly gearing up for the forthcoming Prestige Leviathan Raid in the video game developer Bungie's science fiction shooter sequel Destiny 2, the game's director, Christopher Barrett, is already looking further into the future. As it so happens, the developer recently took to Twitter to ask fans for their suggestions regarding the first expansion for the title.

As seen in the tweet below from his official Twitter account, Barrett opens the floor to the Destiny 2 community in order to learn what they would most like to see come in the game's first expansion pack. As one can easily imagine, the responses included a wide variety of requests, with most relating to desires for fresh assets themselves, such as custom games, more loot, and a greater emphasis on end game content, while others are more focused on features like a photo mode and a collection tab for armor sets.

Of course, considering the fact that Barrett didn't actively partake in the conversation with fans on Twitter, there's no telling as to whether or not their ideas will be used for Destiny 2's first expansion when it goes live. Not to mention, it has previously been revealed that the DLC is already in the works, with Bungie having confirmed that Curse of Osiris is real. However, it's quite possible that there are certain aspects of the expansion that still need to be fleshed out, which is why Barrett turned to the community in the first place.

All things considered, Barrett's decision to ask fans what they want out of Destiny 2's first expansion is a great way to show that Bungie is engaged with the title's user base, and is dedicated to providing what they want. While Destiny 2 has offered players a solid amount of content right out of the gate, perhaps it will be the fans who are able to find more ways to make the game become even better.

Destiny 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it will release on October 24, 2017 for PC.
