After an unfortunate delay, Bungie finally released the Beyond Light expansions this week for it's popular looter-shooter title, Destiny 2. Even though four major destinations were removed from the game, players can once again return to the Cosmodrome with an all new NPC called Shaw Han. However, for many players, the big draw is exploring the ice moon Europa and discovering a host of new secrets and unlocking the Stasis subclass. Naturally, the new destination has plenty of secrets left for players to uncover including new exotic gear.

For those who do not want to be spoiled before the Deep Stone Crypt raid officially launches on November 21 should stop reading now.

The latest information comes from the Raid Secrets subReddit, a Destiny 2 site that revels in rumors, leaks, theories, and datamined information. With Beyond Light finally live, fans have noticed that the Light.gg website, a database of tools, resources, and items related to Destiny 2, has also been updated. Fans have managed to stumble across a new exotic that has yet to be mentioned in any marketing materials.

destiny 2 eyes of tomorrow

With a quote from Clovis Bray, people have figured out that the exotic rocket launcher known as Eyes of Tomorrow is a potential reward for completing the upcoming Deep Stone Crypt raid. It's basic intrinsic perk is called Eyes on All, which allows the weapon to track and fire at multiple target simultaneously. When paired with its Legendary Trait Adaptive Ordnance, the weapons becomes even stronger. Killing four or more combatants in a single volley increases the damage of the next rocket volley.

Reaction to the discovery appears to be mixed. Comments below the initial post compare Eyes of Tomorrow to another exotic rocket launcher, the Wardcliff Coil. The big reason is that the Wardcliff also fires off a volley of rockets, though that launcher doesn't manually track targets like this one can. In addition, since this weapon is capable of tracking multiple targets, many assume that the damage output will be lower to prevent it from being overpowered, especially in game modes like Gambit. At one point in time, the Truth exotic Rocket Launcher reigned supreme thanks to its aggressive player tracking capabilities.

While players will need to wait and see for a little longer, there are other exotic items which can be found immediately including the return of the pulse rifle known as No Time to Explain. Confirmed earlier this year, fans will also be able to get their hands on the hand cannon, Hawkmoon, though according to new datamined information, it'll be tied to a specific quest set to arrive later in this season.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is now available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The PS5 version will release on November 12.
