For many Destiny 2 players, Raid activities offer some of the most difficult and fulfilling content in the game while also featuring exclusive and sometimes powerful loot. With the Beyond Light expansion, Bungie added a new kiosk in the Tower for fans to pick up weapons that were attached to now vaulted content, including Raid exotics like the Anarchy Grenade Launcher. However, they required a special resource called Spoils of Conquest, earned from participating in raids. For some players who may not be able to Raid, this is a big hurdle to overcome, potentially locking them out of earning these weapons entirely.

However, with the newest raid known as Deep Stone Crypt, players have found a way to bypass certain aspects giving an opportunity for solo players to get in and unlock a couple of chests and earn Spoils of Conquest. The process involved a glitch which prevented a damaging debuff called Frostbite from impacting the player, intended to make the first section more challenging to overcome. While it offered a surefire way to score some easy treasure runs in the first part of the Raid, Bungie has closed the loophole thanks to its most recent update.

Naturally, this hasn't stopped dedicated players from attempting to find other loop holes. In fact, players found a new way around the Frostbite debuff in just a few hours after the update went live. Popular YouTuber Cheese Forever detailed the latest glitch, which involves getting outside of the map and using a sparrow to cancel out the Frostbite debuff. Typically, the glitch involved using the doors before heading outside as well as summoning a sparrow at the correct time.

Since the Destiny 2 update fixed the door glitch, players have instead found a hole in the cave ceiling before reaching the metal doors that allows them to leave the map. After reaching the top, head left towards a bit of sunlight, get on a sparrow near where the barrier is inside the map and wait to see if the Frostbite debuff appears. Once it does, jump off the sparrow and take a step back away from the barrier, then get back on the sparrow which should then prevent Frostbite from appearing.

While the next bit may be difficult for Hunters, players will want to now follow the path down around the map towards a second bubble on the right. Head up and around to get on top of the rocks above the bubble, though the next part requires players to scale the nearby cliff in order to get to the chest and complete the encounter. Supers like Top Tree Dawnblade and Thundercrash work best here as they propel the player forward. Sword flying may also be of use here as well.

Since its launch back in 2017, Destiny 2 has certainly seen its fair share of glitches and exploits. Some have clearly benefited the player base such as the exotic fusion rifle Telesto breaking multiple parts of the game, while others have been deemed damaging to the experience by Bungie such as the recent troubles with Trials of Osiris. Some glitches have even resulted in fan favorite experiences including 12 man Raids and Strikes. Unfortunately, most, if not all, of these cheese methods and glitches are soon patched out completely. Still, it won't stop players from always pushing the boundaries.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
