Destiny 2's Dawning 2021 event launched, and players are trying to figure out what the best ways to acquire more loot are. Dawning Essence is the main currency for Destiny 2's Dawning this year, and it allows players to bake more treats the more of it they have, making it one of the primary resources to acquire. However, the Dawning Spirit is also very valuable, and that's where the Starfarer 7m Exotic ship comes into play. This quick guide explains how to get the Exotic ship and how to use it.
How to Get and Use the Starfarer 7M Exotic Ship
Destiny 2's Starfarer 7M Exotic ship is not a new item, meaning that players who got it during The Dawning of last year can go ahead and use it immediately. For those who did get the ship but eventually dismantled it, the Starfarer 7M can still be pulled out of the players' Collection tab within the appropriate section.
Since some Destiny 2 players might have skipped last year's Dawning event or didn't get the ship, there is still a way to do so. Players should head over to Eva Levante in The Tower and talk to her. In Eva's menu, players should go to the second page, where she sells the so-called "Gifts of Dawning Past." Starfarer 7M is up for sale for 5,000 Glimmer and 100 Legendary Shards, a very fair price for a new Exotic ship.
The ship's most notable perk is that it grants a chance to earn extra Dawning Spirit whenever players obtain any material or ingredient from The Dawning. Despite the ship being from last year, this perk also works this year, making it extremely useful. However, players who didn't have the ship before this year and want to acquire the perk Spirit of the Season need to spend an extra 5,000 Glimmer and 100 Legendary Shards on the Starfarer 7M Upgrade pack sold by Eva.
Once this is done, players can jump into any activity or location within Destiny 2 and start getting extra Dawning Spirit. This will also help players unlock all the upgrades from Eva, as they all cost Dawning Spirit to purchase.
