Just a few weeks away from the launch of Destiny 2's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, Bungie has revealed one of the Crucible maps included in the DLC. The map in question is called Pacifica, and it is located on top of one of the massive ocean rigs on the moon of Titan.

Those who played the campaign and PvE content of Destiny 2 will recognize Titan as the ocean moon that hosts a number of Hive and Fallen enemy types. It is the second location players visit in the campaign, where they reunite with Commander Zavala. While Titan is a well-trod location in PvE, Pacifica will be the first PvP arena set on the moon.

Pacifica will be one of two maps being added to the game for all platforms with Curse of Osiris on December 5. PlayStation 4 will receive an additional third map, which will remain exclusive to the console for the foreseeable future. No more details were given or any other footage was shown of the map besides a screenshot.

Based on screenshots (like the one below) released showing the Sony-exclusive map, that map will also take place on Titan, but in the depths of the New Pacific Arcology, within the structures of the planet and where players play the Savathun's Song strike. It's unknown at this time what the third map will be.

Aside from those maps, developer Bungie also promised a free map being unlocked at some point over the course of Destiny 2's second season similar to how Emperor's Respite, Eternity, and Distant Shore were added to the game during its first few months. When all is said and done, Curse of Osiris will bring the total number of Crucible maps up to 14 on PC and Xbox One, and 16 on PS4.

In addition to the Crucible maps being added in Curse of Osiris, the expansion will include a new social space, Patrol area, story missions, strikes, and a raid lair aboard the Leviathan.

Curse of Osiris launches December 5, 2017. Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
