Part two of Bungie's three-part Destiny 2 livestream series for the upcoming Curse of Osiris expansion will air tomorrow at 11:00 am PT. The first livestream aired last week, introducing Destiny 2 fans to Osiris through the expansion's introductory cinematic. This week's stream will focus on activities to be found throughout the expansion's new Mercury patrol region. And as a surprise, Bungie also has a teaser trailer for tomorrow's event.
The "New Ways to Play" trailer for Curse of Osiris hints at some of tomorrow's livestream reveals, though no specifics are mentioned directly. That content includes the Mercury patrol region, which features what Bungie's described as the largest public region yet, as well as the Infinite Forest area. The Infinite Forest is the, well, infinite structure that the Vex has built at the heart of Mercury which simulates the past, present, and future of the present of the planet.
Clearly much remains to be shown regarding Mercury and the Infinite Forest itself, nevermind how Osiris fits into the ongoing events on the planet. But what week two's livestream will focus primarily on is activities -- what players will preoccupy themselves within the expansion beyond the story itself.
A third Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris livestream is scheduled for next week, presumably on Tuesday the 28th of November. The first stream focused on the context of the expansion: story, setting, and content structure. This week's stream is focusing on activities and "innovations." But the third will put a special priority on reward, hopefully showcasing just how Destiny 2's end-game will change for the better with its first major expansion.
Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The Curse of Osiris expansion releases on December 5 for all supported platforms.
