The release date for the Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC was officially announced at Paris Games Week with a new trailer. The trailer hinted at some of the new lore that fans may discover, but developer Bungie did not explicitly detail the loot that the DLC will include.

As eagle-eyed fans comb over the trailer and try to identify more of its secrets, they have discovered that the footage includes multiple Destiny 1 exotics. As explained in the video below by YouTuber Mesa Sean, the Destiny 2 DLC will likely bring back The Jade Rabbit.

That weapon is an exotic scout rifle that remained exclusive to PlayStation players until Fall 2017. It's unclear whether the Destiny 2 version of The Jade Rabbit will also be a timed exclusive, building on the exclusive content deal that continues with Destiny 2 PS4. That would be especially disappointing to Xbox One players who already had to go through this long wait for the weapon once before.

Another weapon identified by fans is 'Telesto'. Telesto is a Destiny 1 exotic fusion rifle that could drop from raids, as a Trials of Osiris reward, Nightfall activities, or it could be purchased from Xur, Agent of the Nine. It's worth noting that both Telesto and The Jade Rabbit required The Taken King expansion and so it's likely that these will only be available to players who pick up Curse of the Osiris.

Mesa Sean's video also highlights a third weapon which the YouTuber suggests is the Vex Mythoclast fusion rifle. As Bungie is already bringing back a Destiny 1 exotic fusion rifle (Telesto) for this new Destiny 2 DLC, it seems unlikely that the Vex Mythoclast is that weapon. However, Bungie is introducing some Vex-themed weapons to the game and so this new rifle may have been inspired by the Mythoclast even if the Mythoclast itself is not being brought back for Destiny 2.

Some fans are also speculating about Destiny 1's exotic hand cannon, Thorn, which may have been included in the trailer too. It's unclear whether the hand cannon is making a comeback as it is only glimpsed briefly, but it would make some sense.

Bungie has already brought back several Destiny 1 exotics, including various bits of armor and so Telesto and The Jade Rabbit may not be the only returning exotics, after all. With several weeks to go until the DLC drops, Bungie will hopefully shed more light on its loot content soon.
