Titles are one of the best things about Forsaken since they reward players who put in a lot of time and dedication into the game. One of the most sought-after titles in Destiny 2 is the Chronicler title, which is rewarded for completing lore books. Here is where players can track down every lore entry to get the Chronicler title.

Book One: Uldren Sov

This lore entry revolves around the Awoken Prince, and can be found in collectibles scattered across the Destiny 2 worlds. It gives some interesting insight into the relationship between Uldren and his Sister, as well as how Uldren came to lead the Scorn.

Book 2: The Tangled Shore

Most players will complete this lore book without realizing it, as players unlock the lore as they complete the Forsaken campaign.

Book 3: The Man They Called Cayde

The lore entries for this book give fans insight into the dearly departed Hunter Vanguard. They can be found by opening chests anywhere in the solar system. However, there is a higher chance to find them in the Ace in the Hole mission to unlock the Ace of Spades exotic hand cannon. Players should play the mission repeatedly when it is the Daily Heroic Story mission to get this one done quickly.

Book 4: The Dreaming City

This lore book can be completed by doing activities and opening chests anywhere in the Dreaming City. Doing activities like Heroic Public Events and The Blind Well seem to be the most reliable way to get chests, so players should do those activities to be the most efficient.

Book 5: Marasenna

This lore book is perhaps one of the most tedious to complete. These lore entries are found by finding all the hidden Ahamkara bones as well as destroying the Taken Eggs scattered throughout the Dreaming City. Players will need to track down all the bones and destroy all 40 eggs with the Wish-Ender exotic bow to unlock these lore entries.

Book 6: Truth to Power

This lore book will be the one that will take the longest to complete, as it seems that players can only get one entry (occasionally two due to a random bug) when the Dreaming City Curse is at its highest. Players earn a lore entry when they open the chest in Mara's throne world. This means that players only get one entry every three weeks. Unless new ways to get entries unlock down the line, players will still be working on this when Black Armory launches.

Book 7: The Awoken of the Reef

This lore book can be completed by finding all of the crystallized thoughts scattered throughout the solar system.

Book 8: The Drifter

This lore book revolves around The Drifter, who is in charge of Gambit. This is perhaps one of the most interesting lore books as they tell of the Shadows of Yor and The Drifter’s checkered past with them. These lore entries can be uncovered by playing Gambit, completing Gambit triumphs, and unlocking the Malfeasance Hand Cannon. Several lore entries are unlocked during the Malfeasance quest, and one is unlocked by completing the Mote Thief triumph.

Book 9: Ghost Stories

Ghost Stories can be unlocked by finding all of the Dead Ghosts scattered throughout the solar system. These tell the stories of various Ghosts and their Guardians and is perhaps one of the most interesting lore books in the collection.

Book 10: Variks the Loyal

The lore entries for this book drop from chests and activities on the Tangled Shore when it is the weekly flashpoint. There may be a very small chance for them to drop from other heroic activities, but players will definitely want to do it when it’s the Flashpoint since the drop rate is much higher. Players can also find these lore entries while working toward the Wayfarer title.

Those are all of the lore books required earn the Chronicler title. While the Truth to Power book will be holding a lot of people back, players can keep track of their progress thanks to a very helpful spreadsheet found here. Even if players aren’t lore enthusiasts, this is certainly an interesting scavenger hunt for those looking for something to chase.
