Destiny 2 has a brand new exotic trace rifle, the Ruinous Effigy, and in order to obtain players must complete a multi-part quest called Growth. The third step of this quest, which is dubbed Pendulum, starts by sending fans to track down 25 Calcified Light Fragments, and these objects can be found scattered across Io, Mars, Mercury, and Titan. For players that may be having trouble locating some of the Calcified Light Fragments in Destiny 2, this guide is here to help.

Before providing maps that highlight the locations of Destiny 2's Calcified Light Fragments, it is worth mentioning that players can use their Ghosts to zero in on them quite easily. More specifically, Calcified Light Fragments show up as small gray diamonds on a fan's HUD when they have their Ghost out, and players should use this feature alongside the maps below to complete this part of the Growth quest quickly.

With that established, here are the locations of all of the Calcified Fragments in Destiny 2:

Io Calcified Light Fragment Locations

Mercury Calcified Light Fragment Locations

If a player finds that they are still not able to locate some of the Calcified Light Fragments after referencing the maps above and checking their Ghost in Destiny 2, it is recommended that they turn to the following video that provides even further visual reference. Additionally, fans can find timestamps below the video on YouTube, which will help them get to the planet or moon that they are interested in very easily.

To note, collecting 25 Calcified Light Fragments is not all that must be done to complete Pendulum, as this quest step also instructs players to defeat Savathun's Marionettes in Destiny 2. Fortunately, these enemies can be found on Io and Titan, and fans should thus be on the lookout for them when they are on those maps hunting down Calcified Fragments.

After a player has finally completed Pendulum then all that is left in Growth is to spend some time playing Gambit or Reckoning. That is something that should be much more straightforward then finding Calcified Light Fragments or Savathun's Marionettes, and it will not take Destiny 2 players too long to receive their Ruinous Effigy exotic trace rifle once they have reached that point in the quest.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
