As Destiny 2 nears its launch anniversary, Bungie is celebrating the first year of content through Solstice of Heroes. This special in-game event introduces remixed campaign missions, upgradable armor based on what players wore at the very start of the story, as well as new Moments of Triumph and unique loot. As part of the first year festivities, Bungie's analytics team has also put together an infographic containing some pretty interesting statistics.

As seen in Bungie's latest blog post, this infographic contains statistics from the Destiny 2 community spanning over the past 77 days from the launch of the Warmind expansion to the end of the final Faction Rally at the Tower. From a Faction perspective, Hunter players appear to lean Dead Orbit which has a commanding lead over the other factions at 818, 723 pledges. Titans are more balanced, though New Monarchy slightly edges Dead Orbit by 20,000 pledges while Dead Orbit remains the clear favorite for Warlocks as well. As such, Dead Orbit also has a commanding lead from total opened engrams, while the least picked faction, Future War Cult, comes in a surprising second with New Monarchy coming in a distant last.

Some other interesting stats surround two of the more exclusive weapons available. Redrix’s Claymore pulse rifle, which can only be earned through the Glory Crucible ranking system, has only been unlocked by 8,750 players. Even though the Glory ranking system is considerably harder to progress than Valor, the number is still very surprising for how low it is. By contrast, Whisper of the Worm, a weapon that was just added to the game through a hidden quest, is already in the hands of over 194,000 players and is likely to rise each time the quest is made available.

One of the more controversial aspects to the Destiny 2 experience is with shaders and how they're now single-use items that can't be mass deleted. Still, players have not been shy about deleting these items as the infographic reveals that over 807 million shaders have been eliminated. What's staggering about this number is that it's only during season 3 and not the entire first year. Once Forsaken arrives next month, that number is likely to jump even higher when Bungie finally adds in the ability to delete more shaders at one time.

Destiny 2: Forsaken releases September 4, 2018 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
