With the unlocking of the Bergusia Forge in Destiny 2, players can now progress the Mysterious Box quest, starting with a quest leg that requires them to get the Black Armory Key to finally open the Mysterious Box.

The first step to unlocking the Black Armory key requires the previous steps of the Mysterious Box be finished, specifically, collecting the Butterfly Key, Fishhook Key, and Hand Key. As long as that has been completed, Ada-1 will have a new Black Armory Key Mold item for players to pick up, which launches the next part of the quest.

Collect Watcher Lenses

From here, the quest requires 24 Watcher Lens to be collected. That will send players to the Leviathan raid, which is now located within the Nessus destination on the Director for those who may not have accessed Destiny 2's first raid for a while. Players will need to open the Underbelly of the Leviathan and then go to an area where there are a number of Watchers. The Engine Room seems to be a favorite considering that it contains a substantial amount of Watchers. Kill enough of them to drop 24 Watcher Lenses.

Collect Glimmering Amethyst

The next step requires players to collect 200 of an item called Glimmering Amethyst, which is found in supply chests, public event chests, and strike chests. Completing a Heroic public event will award 10 Glimmering Amethyst while completing a strike will award 20. Two of the best ways to complete this step is to (1) go to the EDZ or Nessus where public events are plentiful and complete 20 Heroic public events, or (2) run a quick strike (a favorite among players seems to be the Lake of Shadows) 10 times.

Stoke the Bergusia Forge to Maximum Temper

The newest and last forge, the Bergusia Forge, is the final step to getting the Black Armory Key and completing this section of the quest. To do so, players need to head to the Bergusia Forge and stoke the forge to Maximum Temper. To get Maximum Temper, players need to take down the drones between waves of the forge. Upon first entering the forge, look to the right and directly straight. Those are the two areas where the drones will spawn and they appear much lower than previous drones.

Keep in mind that the Bergusia Forge is a 650-level activity so this one will be a bit tougher than the other two forges, especially for those under the level cap.

Receive the Black Armory Key

Completing the Bergusia Forge with Maximum Temper will spawn a chest that drops the Black Armory Key. That will allow players to open the Mysterious Box. And, then another leg of the quest opens.
