Unfortunately for Bungie, bugs and game related issues have been on the rise following the release of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. Things got so out of whack last season that fans began calling it the Season of Bugs. While Season 10 seems to be in a better state so far, fans have found a number of frustrating issues that are quickly impacting gameplay for many players. The latest issue could have a major impact in Trials and Crucible.

The latest Destiny 2 discovery comes from Potatoe on Twitter, who compliments the recently added Anomaly map though quickly reveals a massive issue. The rotating structure in the middle of the map has a hitbox that doesn't always match its geography. As the video shows, there are numerous places near the rotator that act as invisible walls, blocking bullets even when there is line of sight.

Naturally, this is a major problem for highly competitive modes such as the weekend activity Trials of Osiris. As some users pointed out, they've fallen victim to this problem on Anomaly with players missing snipes and even point blank shotgun blasts. One user even indicated that the odd hitbox also affects the top part of the rotator as well preventing snipers and long distance shots even when players can clearly see the enemy.

Bungie has yet to comment on this issue though it may be pushed to the side for now as there's a much bigger issue currently impacting the game. While this is the first weekend that Artifact Power has been disabled for Trials of Osiris, the recent hotfix may have had another unforeseen consequence on the popular weekend mode.

Unfortunately, players have been reporting in droves that loot was not being awarded for reaching 3, 5, and 7 wins in Trials of Osiris. In fact, some players who had gone flawless this past Friday were greeted to an empty chest at the lighthouse. While the bug is no doubt frustrating, thankfully it appears to have been a short lived issue as the Trials reset challenges were set to update on Saturday instead of the normal Friday. Bungie also plans on fixing this in a future patch so that players can earn their rewards when they expect it.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
