Ever since the release of Destiny 2 back in 2017, each location (including ones added in expansions) that players can go to on Patrol has a series of gold chests called Region Chests. Region Chests can only be obtained once by account. Even if players were to visit those locations on other characters, the chests would not be there once they have been opened.
Since these Region Chests can only be opened once, they typically contain significantly better loot than regular chests. These chests are very helpful for players looking to increase their Power level quickly while working through the campaign. In addition, each chest rewards players 100 Reputation with Nimbus. There are nine Region Chests in total scattered across Neomuna in Destiny 2, and here are their locations.
All Three Region Chests in Zephyr Concourse
The first Region Chest can be found near the north entrance to Zephyr Concourse. Jump onto the glass platform and then jump up to the roof directly ahead. There will be a Region Chest sitting on this balcony.
The second Region Chest in Zephyr Concourse is tricky to reach as it can be seen inside a room that appears to have no access except for a vent. Go down to the lower level and look for a broken window display featuring gym equipment. Go through the shattered glass and go up the vent to reach the second Region Chest.
The third Region Chest in Zephyr Concourse can be found by going to the southeast corner of Zephyr Concourse. Go toward the edge and look down. There are two glass platforms below with an accessible room next to the lowest platform. Inside this small room is the third Region Chest.
All Three Region Chests in Ahimsa Park
The first Region Chest in Ahimsa Park can be found by going toward the left side of Calus's Ship. Go toward the ledge and jump down onto a rocky path and follow it into a small cave. Inside this cave is the first Region Chest.
The second Region Chest in Ahimsa Park can be found directly in front of Calus's Ship. In the front is a small alcove that conceals the second Region Chest.
The third Region Chest in Ahimsa Park can be found in the south part of Ahimsa Park. Look up toward the side of the building to see the Region Chest. Jump up onto the slanted glass panel and then jump up onto the panel where the Region Chest is.
All Three Region Chests in Liming Harbor
The first Region Chest in Liming Harbor can be found in the large building in the middle of Liming Harbor. Jump up a series of platforms to reach the Region Chest that is near the ceiling.
The second Region Chest in Liming Harbor can be found inside the large turbine on the north wall of Liming Harbor. Jump through the slow moving fan blades to reach a platform where the Region Chest is waiting.
The third and final Region Chest in Liming Harbor can be found in the southwest corner of Liming Harbor where there are a series of platforms that players can jump across. The final Region Chest in sitting in plain sight on one of these platforms.
