In the past few months, an exciting announcement came from Universal Studios Japan that a Demon Slayer-themed attraction would be coming in mid-September. With that deadline approaching, the park has released updates on some other specialties the attraction will include. Among rides and exclusive merchandise, fans will also be able to experience Demon Slayer-inspired food at two of the park's main restaurants.

The park's famous Saido restaurant will be turned into the Demon Slayer mansion, featuring wisteria blossoms and even life-size realistic replicas of the delicate and dangerous Shinobu and speedy Tomioka. Guests will even have the chance to take a picture with the replicas if they order from the incredible limited-time menu. The menu itself is comprised of bento-style boxes, drinks, and desserts tailored to suit each main member of the Hashira.

The other Studio Stars Restaurant will have a different menu and features a life-size replica of Rengoku. This menu is exclusively based on the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film. Rengoku is a demon slayer and a main character in the Mugen Train movie. Known as the Flame Hashira, his fiery looks and powers are reflected in the stunning meal put together by Universal Studios. All three replicas blend a human-like quality with accurate body and facial proportions to the anime, quite literally bringing the characters to life.

Each choice Universal has made in this decision is carefully crafted. Shinobu's butterfly wings are reflected in the smallest details of her dishes and Tomioka's water abilities are reflected in the light blue accents of the cloud-like bubble tea. Universal Studios is certainly mixing quality and aesthetic with these dishes to add another level to the Demon Slayer attraction. Along with the food, Universal also teased that their merchandise line will include many of the Hashiras and popular demon slayers.

Fans who plan on visiting the park can anticipate a fully immersive and exclusive Demon Slayer experience. The collaboration period is only for a short while from September 17 to February 13 of 2022. With the massive surge of popularity the franchise has gained since the first season aired, the attraction is highly anticipated. The series already has seen its own coffee brand, extensive merchandise, and incredible Demon Slayer cosplay recreations, so an entertainment park attraction only seems natural, but what will be next for the series?
