The current love Hashira and Demon Slayer Corps member, Misturi Kanroji is finally a prominent character in the new Swordsmith village arc. A young woman with light pink hair that fades into lime green towards the end of her braids. Mitsuri was also known to be mentored by Kyojuro Rengoku, and derived her love breathing technique from his flame breathing.
In terms of clothing, Mitsuri wears a pink-tinted version of the demon slayer uniform and a short pleated skirt instead of pants along with a pair of navy blue-high socks underneath a vertically stripped lime-green pair of socks which was given to her by Obanai Iguro. As unassuming as she might seem, Mitsuri can pack quite a punch. Just how strong is she?
Personality And Character
Mitsuri is always seen as a very emotional and passionate person who is easily flustered but is always making sure she is kind to others, she is always excited to meet her peers and values her friendship with others. It is revealed that Misturi joined the Demon Slayer Corps in order to find herself a suitable husband who is stronger than she is, even though she possesses an immense level of strength, which made the task even harder for her.
Although she may seem like an innocent or weak character, Misturi takes her role as a Demon Slayer and Hasira very seriously, she shows no mercy towards demons and is extremely fierce when fighting them. Misturi is constantly seen to have a rather emotional personality and is always caring towards her fellow peers. As the love Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Mitsuri is an extremely powerful skilled fighter as she was able to complete the final selection (the trial process in which Demon Slayers are recognized and selected to join the Demon Slayer Corps) with just six months of training, this feat was so impressive that she was able to gain the attention and praise of Kyojuro Rengoku.
Abilities And Techniques
Mitsuri body also has special muscular composition that makes her muscles eight times denser than a regular humans', in order to maintain this composition she has a fairly large appetite. Mitsuri also possesses a Demon Slayer mark which is located on the left side of her neck, her Demon Slayer mark takes the form of two hearts upside down and opposite to each other with angel wings on both sides, once manifested her physical strength and power dramatically increases enabling her to go head-to-head with any powerful demon. Although her body can become quite muscular, Mitsuri is also extremely flexible, which gives her the ability to fight using range, this mixed with her love breathing technique allows her to land and block powerful attacks. Her flexible nichirn sword also plays a huge role when attacking opponents as she can use the sword to either easily block or land attacks.
Even though Mitusri was not recognized as the fastest runner among the Hashiras, her techniques are known to be even faster than the sound Hashira's, Tengen Uzui. Her superhuman like reflexes and movement enables her to even dodge and cut through lighting and sound waves created by an upper rank demon's art while also countering the attacks. Mitsuri also has extremely high levels of superhuman strength since she was child, her incredible stamina and endurance is also something notable as she was able to continue to keep fighting even after battling for long periods of time. As the love Hashira, Mitsuri uses her self created love breathing technique along with her unique whip like katana to unleash powerful long range attacks, something which a normal katana would not be able to do. Mitsuri's unique katana was said to be crafted by Tecchin Tecchikawahara, the chief of the Swordsmith village. Mitsuri is also the only known female Demon Slayer who was able to unlock the Demon Slayer mark, making her quite the powerful Hashira.
