The roster of Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles continues to grow with brand-new DLC included in the Character Pass. The Demon Slayer game follows the story of the popular anime and manga up to the events of the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie featuring the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku. Alongside the story mode, players may battle each other in local and online battles. The base game's roster features 24 characters, and CyberConnect2 plans to release more DLC characters for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. Nezuko's Advanced Demon Form comes with unique quotes and profile photos in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. During her fight with Daki in Demon Slayer, Nezuko's demonic traits were empowered, transforming her into a mighty demon. Nezuko's demeanor changes when transformed, but her will to protect her brother Tanjiro remains unhindered.

Nezuko Kamado (Advanced Demon Form) is available now through the Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles Character Pass. Players may also purchase the DLC character separately with the Nezuko Kamado (Advanced Demon Form) Character Pack. Alongside the arrival of Nezuko, Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles update 1.50 is available now for all players. Update 1.50 introduces the Group Match feature where up to eight players may join a single online room. While two players face off in a private match, the other six players may spectate.

CyberConnect2's anime fighting games are known for containing various versions of existing characters, though some players may believe the developer should focus on completely unique characters. However, Nezuko's Advanced Demon Form may prove to be a worthy addition to the roster with her new move set and appearance.
