Hideo Kojima has announced new Nendoroid vinyl figurines of Death Stranding’s protagonist Sam Porter Bridges.

The Death Stranding figurines, created by Good Smile Company, will be exhibited at Japan’s Wonder Festival this coming weekend and two versions of the stalwart package porter will be available, a normal one and a Great Deliverer. Both models are fully articulated and impressively detailed given their small size of approximately four inches tall.

The regular version of the Death Stranding Sam Porter Bridges Nendoroid figurine has his hair tied back and comes with a cryptobiote, a pod carrying a tiny BB inside, two cargo cases that can be either attached to the cargo carrier or held in Bridges' hands, and an Odradek scanner that also features several points of articulation.

The Sam Porter Bridges Great Deliverer figurine is the same as the regular version but comes with an extensive equipment set that includes BB’s pod, a cryptobiote, a weapon, sunglasses, a cargo carrier with a Death Stranding Odradek scanner attached, eight small gold and silver cargo cases, eight large gold and silver cargo cases, five navy cargo cases, extra hands, and switchable hairdos so that Bridges can either wear his hood up or opt for a more shaggy look.

Both Death Stranding Nendoroid figurines are currently available for pre-order from a few online stores, including Good Smile Company’s official shop. The regular version of the figurine will cost $50 and the Great Deliverer will go for $83. The site specifies that pre-orders are limited to three toys per customer and will be open only until March 19, 2020. The expected release date of the vinyl figurines is August 2020.

Back in September 2019, Good Smile Company teased that there were in fact two upcoming Death Stranding Nendoroid figurines. The images of the prototypes that they released were a pale gray and had not had any color added to them yet. But what’s notable is that in addition to the Sam Porter Bridges figurine, there was also one for Cliff, the Death Stranding character played by Mads Mikkelsen. This means that there might actually be a second adorable Nendoroid figurine for fans of the game to get excited about in the future.

Death Stranding was released in November 2018 for PC and PS4.
