Game developer Hideo Kojima has teased Death Stranding character reveals in a new post on social media. A partial image of a new poster for the hotly anticipated game seems to confirm that the game will feature several other big stars, in addition to those who have been announced.

On May 9, Kojima posted an image of a section of a new poster for Death Stranding. The image is captioned with "various trial and error" and "crappy" (translated from Japanese), which suggests Kojima is poking fun at his sub-par poster-making skills. The section of the poster shows the names of Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus as well as Lea Seydoux who starred in the debut Death Stranding gameplay trailer. However, the positioning of the names and the way that Lindsay Wagner and Troy Baker's names are not centered suggests that the poster features two other names which aren't seen in the image posted by Kojima.

Death Stranding fans have put together an edit of the poster tease to explain this. In a diagram posted in reply to Kojima's tweet, there seems to be room for at least one other actor's name. If Lindsay Wagner's name has been pushed to the right (and isn't in the center of the last line of names) then there would be room for another actor next to her name too.

The poster image published by Kojima is another suggestion that something major about Death Stranding is going to be announced soon. A week ago, Kojima posted another image on Twitter that showed he was editing a video about the game. This video may be a new Death Stranding trailer, which could show more gameplay or confirm a release date.

Two months ago, Kojima and other developers from the Kojima Productions team met with the PlayStation marketing team but the nature of the meeting is unknown. However, many saw this as a confirmation that Sony is going to put more marketing resources behind the game and that it is working on a major marketing strategy.

That marketing strategy could feature a new gameplay trailer, confirmation of the game's release date ,or something else. Revealing two new characters from two major actors would also be a great way to market the game. These plans haven't been confirmed yet but the posts on social media do suggest that a big reveal is in the works.

Death Stranding is in development for PS4.
