Death Stranding is now available for preload to Steam users around the world. With Hideo Kojima's latest game launching tomorrow, eligible players will want to get the 63 GB download out of the way early so they can start playing as soon as possible once it actually releases.

Unfortunately, those that preordered the game on the Epic Games Store will be unable to take advantage of preloading, and will have to get through the download after the game releases. Death Stranding is a visually impressive game, so it's no surprise that the file size is quite large.

Preloading will allow players to download and install the game a day early, but they still won't be able to access it until tomorrow. Players must have pre-ordered Death Stranding on PC for this to work as well, so those waiting to buy it until they see more gameplay obviously will not be able to make use of this feature.

Death Stranding will be available at 7 AM PDT tomorrow morning, so Steam users should be sure to start the download tonight so as to avoid it tomorrow. The game launched to some mixed reception, but the PC port has been highly anticipated nonetheless. The wait is finally over tomorrow morning.

Death Stranding releases on PC July 14th.
