Deadpool 2 star Zazie Beetz has expressed her interest in returning to a future Deadpool film as her character Domino. As fans may remember, Domino is a mutant who joined Deadpool during the first sequel to the Merc with a Mouth's cinematic franchise.

In Deadpool 2, Domino had the ability of "good luck" that ensured everything went her way. She would avoid imminent danger, survive very deadly situations, get everything she wants, and figure out the solution in any tight situation. In the comic books, Domino is known for having subconscious telekinetic probability manipulation, enhanced reflexes, enhanced agility, master marksmanship, and she is an expert in martial arts.

Domino's subconscious power that causes telekinetic manipulation may be what everyone (including her) perceives as "good luck," where things get changed to work in her favor. It's probably how she can survive car accidents and ultimately made it out alive during the final moments of Deadpool 2. Things just appeared to fall in place for and around the character, which made for some cool and humorous moments in the film. Speaking to ComicBook.Com Beetz said regarding her character, "I would love to revisit Domino... I would love to do a Deadpool 3, 4, 5, 7, 19. I've also wanted to be like, 'Maybe I could just do my own origin story.'"

Beetz continued by saying, "I feel honored to have been able to depict her on-screen and to have played with her, as her. I love her and so I would be more than happy to revisit her on camera. And I think I will. If Disney doesn't make it happen, I'll make it happen." Beetz appears to be as attached to the role as the fans are, so that should be a very good sign for those hoping to see her character return in Deadpool 3 or in a potential X-Men film. Details on Marvel Studios' Deadpool 3 are scarce, aside from the fact that Ryan Reynolds will return to play the lead role in addition to assisting writers Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Wendy Molyneux.

Having a solo project for Domino isn't something that's far-fetched in the world where every comic book hero is getting a spin-off, short film, or episodic series. Now that Marvel Studios has Deadpool and other characters previously owned by Fox under its control, perhaps Beetz's Domino is due for a standalone show of her own.

Disney is just slowly starting to introduce the next wave of heroes into their world of Marvel superheroes. The Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom, Galactus, and the X-Men are all on the long-awaited list of projects that Disney will be working on within the upcoming years. Casting is assumed to have already begun for many of these projects, but hopefully, they decide to keep the actors already established in the two Deadpool movies.

Deadpool 3 is currently in development.
