Right, I know how badly all of you have been tearing your hair out in anticipation for Dead to Rights: Retribution news, so here we go - Namco Bandai have revealed that the forthcoming Xbox 360 and PS3 shooter will be released on April 13th in the US and Friday the 16th in Europe.

Dead to Rights: Retribution is a re-booted return to the forgotten third-person shooter series, in which players control tough-guy cop Jack Slate as he cleans up the gritty underbelly of Grant City with his K-9 companion Shadow.

But the good news doesn't stop there folks - those of you who pre-order the game at GameStop or Amazon will be receiving either one of two exclusive pre-order bonuses:

GameStop is offering customers the "Jack Pack" which includes access to "Grant City Anti-Crime Armor" and a "Guns-Blazing Action Mode" which turns your standard issue bullets into those of the exploding variety.

Those of you who prefer Amazon will receive the "Shadow Pack" which transforms Jack's K-9 companion into a 'stealth ninja dog' complete with a camouflage costume. The pack also adds a "Noir Mode" to the game, which gives the game a graphical overhaul, turning almost everything black and white while increasing the intensity of the blood - ala Mad World or Sin City.
