With 2020 already reaching December, numerous games are celebrating the upcoming holiday season. This includes Dead by Daylight, which is bringing merriment to its horror setting with a collection of festive cosmetics.
The collection has been named the Holiday Horror Collection and will be slowly added to Dead by Daylight throughout the month of December. It includes two new outfit sets for killers and six new outfits for survivors.
After the release of these cosmetics, players can purchase them any time from the in-game Dead by Daylight store alongside the other cosmetics. Certain outfits are complete sets and cannot be mixed and matched with other cosmetics, such as the onesies.
Currently available in the in-game store is survivor Élodie Rakoto's Reindeer Onesie outfit set. With Élodie only being recently released, DLC buyers may be interested in this outfit for her. Alongside her, is The Twins' Blood and Guts outfit, which features the twin killers wrapped in various fresh organs to keep warm in the harsh winter.
Coming out on December 4, 2020, is the Trapper's Krampus outfit set, which transforms him into the Christmas horror legend, the Krampus. This being of legend is known for stealing away naughty children on Christmas to presumably eat them. Fitting with this legend, Trapper's Krampus outfit features a basket on his back containing something very much alive inside.
On December 8, Dwight Fairfield, Ace Visconti, and Zarina Kassir will be getting their own holiday-themed outfits. Dwight is equipped with slippers, festive glasses, a Santa hat, and a wearable present around his torso with his outfit named Dwight-In-A-Box. Ace meanwhile has a suit styled like a Christmas tree and reindeer-themed sunglasses in his outfit named Winter Wisecracks. Zarina then follows in Élodie's footsteps and has a onesie of her own named the Penguin Onesie.
The last of the collection will be released on December 11, with Claudette Morel and Jake Park getting their holiday outfits. Claudette's outfit is named Claudette Claus and gives her a Santa sweater, a festive green skirt, and a knitted green cap. Jake, meanwhile, was given the Winter Comfort outfit, which features him wearing a tree patterned robe, a thermal shirt with a deep V, pajama bottoms, and incredibly dirty bare feet.
These outfits can all be purchased in the in-game store after their release with Auric Cells. The ones currently available in the store cannot be purchased with iridescent shards.
Dead by Daylight is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
