While Dead by Daylight is a horror game focused on trying to survive being chased by killers and trying to sacrifice survivors as a killer, the game doesn't skimp on fashion. Both killers and survivors have many choices for cosmetics that they can wear during the entity's trials.

However, some outfits are simply more fashionable than others. While most outfits in Dead by Daylight allow players to mix and match pieces, some outfits just look best when they're with the other items from their sets. Without including the licensed guest survivors, these are the best outfits that are sure to get compliments.

Since this list was first published, some more fantastic outfits have been added to the game. These outfits are worth highlighting, so we've updated this list of the best survivor outfits to include a few more entries.

Eggs-Travaganda - Feng Min

Eggs-Travaganda is an outfit for Feng Min, who is available in Dead by Daylight's Spark of Madness DLC. It is a blue-green bunny-themed hoodie with a skirt and boots. This outfit also comes in a pink variety in an outfit called Happy-Go-Lucky. However, this pink variety will cost 1080 auric cells and cannot be purchased with iridescent shards. The main appeal of this outfit, of course, is how cute the bunny-themed hoodie is. However, players will notice after unlocking it that the ears on the hoodie have physics and will flop around while Feng Min runs around during the trials.

Even if players only want the hoodie, it goes well with most of the bottom clothing options that Feng has, so there is still room for mixing and matching with it. However, players should note that the hood part and the jacket part of this set are separate items and need to be worn together for the full hoodie.

Vigo's Marauder - Jake Park

Vigo's Marauder was an outfit released for Jake Park during one of Dead by Daylight's Halloween events, but it is still available for players who didn't get it during the event for 1080 auric cells currently. This outfit has Jake wearing a fashionable waistcoat, a splattered apron, and a scarf protecting his nose and mouth.

Despite the bright splatters making the outfit a little easier for killers to see Jake, this ensemble is overall really good-looking. Like other outfits from the Halloween events, it looks unique compared to Jake's other outfits. It additionally holds lore for Dead by Daylight, with the outfit's description mentioning how Jake stole it from Vigo, a researcher also trapped in the entity's realm.

Reckless Boarder - Nea Karlsson

Reckless Boarder is an outfit for Nea Karlsson that includes all sorts of gear for snowboarding. What really brings this outfit together is her skull-patterned face mask, which really matches the rest of the clothes in the Reckless Boarder set. The bright yellow of the jacket may make Nea a bit easier to be seen by the killer, but fashion is sometimes worth getting hooked for, especially in Dead by Daylight.

However, if Nea can keep up a long chase using her bright jacket as a beacon, the killer could be distracted from the generators for quite a bit of time.

Unhinged Rider - Jeff Johansen

Unhinged Rider is an outfit released for Jeff Johansen, a character available through Dead by Daylight's Darkness Among Us DLC.

One of the coolest parts of this outfit is the blend of natural fibers mixed with rusted spikes and chains that make up this rugged look. Not too many people play as Jeff compared to other survivors, but this outfit is perfect for those who do choose to survive as him. Considering that The Legion remains a popular character in most levels of play in Dead by Daylight, some players already own Jeff and might not even know it.

Flying Ace - Ace Visconti

Flying Ace serves as an outlier among outfits for Ace Visconti from Dead by Daylight's of Flesh and Mud DLC. This outfit is themed after old wartime pilots, even giving Ace a cigarette and an eye patch.

What makes this outfit great, especially for Ace, is how it is different from Ace's other outfits. Because many of them play into his backstory, they can come off as a bit sleazy. Meanwhile, this outfit has a good charm to it that makes Ace seem a little more likable.

Weekend Maker - Jane Romero

Weekend Maker is a fun arts and crafts-themed outfit for Jane Romero from Dead by Daylight's Demise of the Faithful DLC. This outfit is a fun casual outfit for Jane that's covered in different colors of paint staining clothes and face.

What makes this outfit so fun is how fun and different it is. Many of the outfits in Dead by Daylight are focused on looking either cool or pretty, but this outfit is overall just fun. The idea of just having fun with DIY projects and getting messy with paint has a much lighter tone compared to the rest of Dead by Daylight, making Weekend Maker both a fun and aesthetically pleasing outfit.

Spring Break - Claudette Morel

Spring Break is a fun yet blood-stained outfit for Claudette Morel. This outfit has Claudette in a fun pink swimsuit with a two-piece cover-up, as well as having her glassed hang from a shell necklace.

Like Jane's Weekend Maker outfit, Claudette's Spring Break outfit is more fun than anything else, clashing with the normal horror atmosphere. Even the promotional image for this outfit on its release had Claudette wearing it while hanging out with the Hillbilly in his own Spring Break-themed outfit.

Judge to the Stars - Yun-Jin Li

This Yun-Jin Li outfit is perfect for fans of Korean Pop, launched as part of a series celebrating music superstardom alongside outfits for Feng Min and The Trickster. These clothes see Yun-Jin adopt a faux military uniform embellished with golden trims and deep purple hues, cutting a stunning figure that is sure to impress the entity itself during Dead By Daylight's many trials.

Counselor Loadout - Dwight Fairfield

For players looking to sport a more summery outfit, Dwight Fairfield's Counselor Loadout is sure to fill an appetite. Bearing sunburnt and sweat-dripping style, these clothes feel right at home on bright maps like The Eyrie of Crows, and the tactically positioned water bottle ensures Dwight can always stay hydrated on those long runs from the Killer.

Open Mic Host - Mikaela Reid

A mix of elegance, modernity, and practicality, Mikaela Reid's Open Mic Host Outfit settles in perfectly among her array of arcane-inspired attire. With an ornately designed crop top supported by a bohemian-style tasseled skirt, the outfit is topped off with a stylish wide-brim hat that totally sells Mikaela as a modern-day witch.
