While it’s safe to say that Nintendo Switch Online trails behind other consoles’ online services in many regards, one way it excels over the competition is in its Game Trials program. Free trial periods for entire games have become a recurring perk for Switch subscribers, and this week Nintendo announced that Dead Cells is next on the list.

Starting this Tuesday, January 26, and going on until February 1, Switch owners will be able to dive into Dead Cells at no cost and play as much of Motion Twin’s popular 2D roguelike as they want. It should be noted, though, that this trial is only confirmed for the UK, Europe, and Australia at the moment. It’s not yet known if it will be available in North America and other regions, but given the growing number of games being offered through the program lately, it is possible.

Even if the free trial ultimately doesn’t expand beyond the aforementioned regions, Switch owners will still have deals to look forward to next week. With Dead CellsFatal Falls DLC also launching on January 26, Motion Twin is offering a 33% discount for anyone who pre-orders Dead Cells: The Fatal Seed Bundle, which includes the base game along with the new DLC, The Bad Seed expansion, and all 20 of its free updates. Additionally, the game will go on sale for 50% off its usual $24.99 price tag across all digital storefronts.

Part of what makes Nintendo Switch Online’s Game Trials program so enticing is the quality of the games it offers, with popular titles like Celeste, Overwatch, and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled being a few recent examples. And since Dead Cells is widely considered one of the best roguelikes out there, it goes without saying that it will be keeping that level of quality high.

Dead Cells is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
