Dead by Daylight has received a wide variety of updates since its launch, which have brought new killers and survivors to the title. Dead by Daylight has built a large stable of characters, and implemented its Tome feature to expand on the game's universe and backstories.

Many of Dead by Daylight's updates have included crossovers, like Stranger ThingsSilent Hill, and Saw. Previous Tomes have primarily focused on expanding the stories of the horror title's original characters while also giving player's a variety of challenges to complete as the Tome is released over time.

The revealed seventh Tome, titled Forsaken, however, is going to be centered around a crossover character, Left 4 Dead's William "Bill" Overbeck. The Tome will also feature information on the backstory of the killer known as The Plague as well as The Observer. The animated trailer follows Bill in what appears to be Vietnam during the Vietnam War. The trailer gives fans a sneak peek at some of Bill's history, but it will be interesting to see what else is revealed about the character, especially since he is from the beloved survival horror shooter Left 4 Dead.

The new Tome will also bring with it a variety of new charms that players can unlock to equip on their favorite characters' waists or killers' hooks. Forsaken is scheduled to release on May 5, and comes ahead of some exciting new content that is in Dead by Daylight's future. Not only did the developer reveal that it is updating some models of Dead by Daylight's original survivors, but fans are also eagerly anticipating an upcoming Resident Evil crossover. There has been no mention of the Archives coming to Dead by Daylight Mobile, but as the mobile port has continued to grow a large community, hopefully, they will be ported over soon.

Forsaken should be an interesting addition to Dead by Daylight for players and Bill fans alike, and it will be interesting to see just what the Tome reveals about the iconic character. Tomes have proven to be an interesting way to grow the world of Dead by Daylight, and since Forsaken will be added into the game for free, it is a great time for new and returning players to jump into the game and check it out. It also is a great time to see more of Dead by Daylight's unique new K-Pop inspired killer, Trickster.

Dead by Daylight is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
