The next update for Dead By Daylight is live and includes new content from the popular Netflix show Stranger Things. This update features two new survivors, Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler, and the new killer The Demogorgon.

This new chapter in Dead By Daylight offers new crossover content for Stranger Things lovers, but this isn't the first time that Behaviour Interactive has released crossover content for the multiplayer title. Previous updates have included Ash from Ash Vs. Evil Dead, and more popular horror media figures.

Patch 3.2.0 of Dead By Daylight went live today, and features the crossover content from Stranger Things players were waiting for. This update features a new map, one new killer, and two new survivors. The Dead By Daylight survivor perks for Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler are especially powerful, and makes the two worth playing even for those that aren't Stranger Things fan. Steve has the ability to self-heal after getting unhooked by the killer, the ability to occasionally see the killer's aura, and more. Nancy meanwhile will have the ability to project auras of generators getting fixed to other survivors and will be able to self-heal while hiding in lockers, among other perks.

The new killer isn't a pushover, however. The Demogorgon can burrow under the stage to get around, which makes it especially sneaky and hard to get around. Its perks also revolve around messing with survivors' generators, which can halt the survivors' progress of safety and ultimately victory. Finally, the Dead By Daylight Stranger Things DLC allows players to explore the Underground Complex of the Hawkins National Laboratory, which is bound to be a treat for series fans.

It's getting close to the prime horror media season with Halloween fast approaching, so new content for Dead By Daylight will keep it in players' minds during the busy season. Thanks to Friday the 13th's lawsuit halting any new updates for the game, Dead By Daylight is the premier horror multiplayer survival title. With that in mind, Behaviour Interactive has not been resting on its laurels, securing crossover updates and making sure that Dead By Deadlight continues to be fun to play.

The Dead By Daylight patch is available now, so anyone that has patch 3.2.0 downloaded can play in the Stranger Things universe right now.

Dead By Daylight is available now on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The Switch version releases on September 24, and will include this patch's content on release.
