Dead by Daylight's Stranger Things content has been a fan-favorite chapter for the community for the past two years. Stranger Things' Steve Harrington, Nancy Wheeler, and the Demogorgon will soon be withdrawn from Dead by Daylight's storefront, but if anyone owns these characters and their associated content before November 17 they will be able to continue enjoying them thereafter.
Dead by Daylight has offered Stranger Things content on numerous sales since the announcement that its licensed agreement with the IP is nearing its sunset. Indeed, there are multiple different outfit cosmetics for both Steve and Nancy that players will be unable to access even if they still own the characters. With this much content being removed, players must be hasty to obtain it if they wish to. However, Behaviour Interactive has announced a new way that players may be able to secure themselves Stranger Things content before it is unavailable.
Behaviour shares that its Community Managers will be allotting an undetermined number of giveaway codes today featuring either outfits or characters that are featured in the Stranger Things DLC Chapter. Because Stranger Things content will not be available for purchase after November 17, it is clear that Behaviour wants to give players as many opportunities as possible to get their hands on this content so that they can keep it after it leaves the storefront, as these code giveaways are appearing at the same time as content discount sales.
Dead by Daylight players who have not yet purchased Stranger Things content have an opportunity today to receive outfits for Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler, or even the characters themselves, for free if they are vigilant. The first Stranger Things-related content available through a code giveaway is "1 of 50" Stranger Things outfit cosmetics, though it does not specify if the outfit is for Steve or Nancy.
Behaviour's initial announcement of Stranger Things giveaways says to stay "tuned to our socials for more info," which perhaps means that different codes may be available on different social platforms. In any case, fans should stay updated on any socials that Dead by Daylight's Stranger Things content may be shared toward if they want the best chance of receiving a giveaway code today.
