Dead by Daylight has kicked off the new year with a lot of incentives and rewards for players. These compensations and improvements to Dead by Daylight's monthly grade rewards allow players to amass even more Bloodpoints toward their killer and survivor characters' Bloodwebs.

But a relative roadmap has also been subtly detailed with the reveal that Dead by Daylight will feature a Ringu chapter, which is currently set to launch in March. Until then, there is a lot more to look forward to. It was recently announced that the next tome archive will feature a franchise familiar to Dead by Daylight players.

Saw will once more receive renown in Dead by Daylight as the featured content for its 10th tome release. Saw is a prominent horror franchise in Dead by Daylight. Saw's Gideon Meat Plant is a claustrophobic interior map with many line-of-sight blockers and referential rooms where Jigsaw's grisly trials have taken place. Saw's killer character is The Pig, also known as Amanda Young, who is stealth-oriented and has the unique ability to attach reverse bear traps onto survivors' heads. Saw's Detective David Tapp was also added as a survivor character.

Tome 10 releases in only two days, on January 26, so players can anticipate this content rollout fairly soon. However, there appears to be a detail that shares what players can look forward to in terms of the tome's allotted cosmetics. According to IGN, Dead by Daylight's newest tome is said to add "notoriously sadistic horror movie villain Jigsaw" in some capacity. Indeed, Dead by Daylight tomes represent a franchise or specific character to offer cosmetics and lore toward.

In the case of Dead by Daylight's newly announced Saw content, fans may expect cosmetic outfits to be offered for The Pig and Detective Tapp. It is then probable that The Pig may receive a cosmetic outfit that further resembles her self-righteously cruel mentor, John Kramer. Otherwise, there may be a cosmetic that resembles Billy the Puppet, the tricycle-ridden doll that Kramer uses to tape recorded instructions that inform victims on how to survive each trial.

More lore will surely be disseminated through this tome's archives, as is customary with previous tomes. Players can also expect a rift to soon be associated with the current tome, where these cosmetics will likely be offered and purchasable. Dead by Daylight's festive Halloween tome offered free cosmetics just for advancement through it, even without a rift associated to it, so there is also a chance players may see a similar incentive in Saw's latest crossover this week.

Dead by Daylight is available for Mobile, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
