Dead By Daylight has made it clear that it intends on collecting the most well-known figures in horror and adding them to its Realm. With some of the most recognizable faces, such as Michael Meyers, Freddy Krueger and Scream, it's no wonder the game has formed such a loyal fanbase.

And this is for good reason; what other game allows you to assume the role of so many legendary icons in one game, each with unique abilities related to their own stories and lore? As Dead By Daylight continues to update and add more characters to its ranks, there are some horror icons that would definitely fit right in among the current cast.

10 Kayako (The Grudge)

The ghost in Ju-On: The Grudge

When The Grudge was released, it was a cultural phenomenon. It quickly became synonymous with the greatest installments in horror during the 2000s. With her piercing wide-eyes and iconic obsydian hair, Kayako would fit right in with the chilling killers of Dead By Daylight.

As she is frequently seen in dark spaces with the ability to disappear and crawl at unnaturally quick speeds, this could be an interesting facet to her play-style if she was added as a playable killer.

9 The Darkness (Song Of Horror)

Song Of Horror is a newer survival-horror game, following the mysterious force behind a melody that ensnares its listener into a slow descent into madness. This force appears in many forms, most frequently as many hands reaching out at its victim trying to drag them into the darkness, but also as pale, rotting figures that seek out its prey using sound.

The Darkness of Song Of Horror fits the bill perfectly of Dead By Daylight killers. As it can take multiple forms and resides in the darkness, it has great versatility in its ability to attack and apprehend survivors.

8 Samara (The Ring)

Samara from The Ring

Another cult classic film of the 2000s, Samara from The Ring would be another worthy edition to the killers of Dead By Daylight. She is shown to have superhuman strength, with her ability to grab adults twice her size and yank them into the TVs that she resides in, as well as her ability to completely distort her victims as she quickly murders them.

Samara's ability to traverse TVs through tapes could be an interesting element of her playstyle. This could be used to allow her to teleport across the map, such as Freddy Krueger's ability to teleport through generators.

7 Nemesis (Resident Evil)

The bio-weapon human-made-monster from Resident Evil 3 wouldn't be the first horror icon from a different video game added to Dead By Daylight. Nemesis possesses all of the qualities necessary to carry-out the entities needs: swift speed, tentacles to strike survivors, and superb strength to quickly carry them to hooks.

Nemesis' playstyle could emphasis sprinting and fast-paced chases, such as The Hillbilly's chainsaw charges. He could have an impressive ranged-attack with his long tentacles.

6 Scissorman (Clock Tower)

The evil, scissor-wielding monster from the Clock Tower series is already accustomed to slowly tracking down his victims. Scissorman is a strange killer that uses a unique weapon, which would be a nice change-of-pace from the somewhat generic killers of Dead By Daylight.

The loud shearing sound of his giant scissors holds potential to be a key element of his playstyle, perhaps inciting fear in the survivors similar to the way that The Doctor does.

5 The Entity (It Follows)

It Follows is a psychological horror film that not many people know of. The movie premise involves a curse takes many forms, that follows its prey with murderous intent that can only be stopped if its current victim has sex with somebody else. The result is a terrifying entity that can take many forms, that follows its victims in a dead stare until its deed is done.

The Entity of It Follows would could be an exceptionally interesting killer in Dead By Daylight. Since it can take many forms, it could potentially take the form of other survivors in an effort to trick and attack them.

4 Helena Markos (Suspiria)

Helena Markos is the main antagonist of the cult-classic film Suspiria. She is a witch, whose true form is old and rotting; however, she demonstrates the ability to possess corpses to serve her intentions.

Helena Markos could take multiple forms, and her dark magic could prove to be a great asset for players that use her.

3 Dracula

Dead By Daylight has covered its bases with classic horror tropes, so its a surprise that it hasn't featured one of the most iconic figures in horror: vampires. Dracula could be a great fit to fill in the missing link in classic horror; however, any classic iteration of vampires could really do.

Dracula possesses abilities perfect for a Dead By Daylight killer--his ability to transform into a bat could potentially be a great element to his playstyle.

2 Bloody Mary

Another iconic figure in horror, Bloody Mary takes many forms in urban legends; however, the staple to her story is that if you say her name three times in a mirror, she will appear behind you, and she will not be happy.

As Bloody Mary doesn't have a solid film or novel that definitively captures who she is, Dead By Daylight could fit her into whatever killer that they would need her to be. However, they would definitely need to incorporate mirrors into her playstyle in one way or another.

1 Carrie

Sure, in her usual state, Carrie is timid teenage girl who simply wants to fit in. However, in her rage, Carrie is a murderous, vengeful force with devastating telepathic abilities.

There currently isn't a killer with telepathic powers in Dead By Daylight, and Carrie could be a force to be reckoned with if they decided to include her.
