Dead by Daylight has been going strong ever since the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game released in 2016. Since its initial launch, developer Behaviour Interactive has kept fans engaged through regular updates and expansions, adding new survivors, killers, and more to the game. The next DLC for Dead by Daylight is a Resident Evil crossover, but Behaviour Interactive has yet to reveal what's next for the game beyond RE.

While Behaviour Interactive has not announced DLC plans beyond the Resident Evil crossover DLC, it has released a survey that may hint at its future plans. Behaviour Interactive recently posted a survey asking for fan feedback for various things in Dead by Daylight. One page of the survey includes a question about possible licenses that could be featured in Dead by Daylight, categorized by Movies/TV, Anime, Video Games, and Comics.

It must be stressed that none of this potential Dead by Daylight DLC will actually make it into the final game. Behaviour Interactive may just be gauging fan interest in these properties without any deals in place or even in the discussion stage. Still, for those curious, here are all the licenses mentioned by Behaviour Interactive in its Dead by Daylight feedback survey.

Dead by Daylight has already incorporated plenty of slasher movie characters into its game, including A Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger and Halloween's Michael Myers. Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees seems like a natural choice for Dead by Daylight DLC, but rights to the character and the franchise in general are a bit complicated. It's why support for the similar Friday the 13th: The Game was shut down.

There are some surprising licenses listed as well, like Scooby-Doo and Metal Gear Solid. It's hard to imagine how these licenses would fare in Dead by Daylight, but Behaviour Interactive could likely figure something out that would please not only fans of its game but fans of the licenses as well.

For now, Dead by Daylight fans can look forward to the Resident Evil crossover and play the K-Pop Chapter that's currently available in the game.

Dead by Daylight is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
