With Dead by Daylight recently having its mobile release, there are many new players trying to survive in the entity's realm. With that, there will also be many new survivors not knowing the best ways to stay alive.

There are plenty of options for players picking which survivor to use first. Each survivor has their own special perks to help the odds of survival if used correctly, with each character leaning toward different strategies. Here is how to survive with the healer of the group: Claudette Morel.

Claudette is a botanist that was dragged into the entity's realm on a normal walk in the woods. Being an introvert, she preferred talking to people about her plant knowledge via the internet, but her botany skills translated to healing prowess in the world of Dead by Daylight.

Dead by Daylight Claudette Loadout

Like every survivor, Claudette has three perks initially exclusive to her. These are Self-Care, Botany Knowledge, and Empathy. While players will start out with all of the first level versions of her perks, players won't have all the open perk slots until they level Claudette up to level 15. After unlocking the teachable versions of the perks in Claudette's bloodweb, other survivors will have the chance for her perks to appear in their bloodwebs.

Self-Care

Self-Care is one of the most popular survivor perks due to it allowing survivors to heal themselves without the use of a first-aid kit. It can be used an infinite amount of times in a trial, but it heals at a significantly slower rate than using a first-aid kit or being healed by another survivor. However, it also increases healing speed if the equipped player uses a first-aid kit on themselves.

  • Level 1 - Med-Kit self-heal speed is increased by 10%
  • Level 2 - Med-Kit self-heal speed is increased by 15%
  • Level 3 - Med-Kit self-heal speed is increased by 20%

Botany Knowledge

Botany Knowledge increases overall healing speed, so it goes great with Self-Care. The healing speed goes up the more the perk is upgraded via the bloodweb.

  • Level 1 - Healing Speed and Efficiency is increased by 11%
  • Level 2 - Healing Speed and Efficiency is increased by 22%
  • Level 3 - Healing Speed and Efficiency is increased by 33%

Empathy

Empathy is a tracking perk that allows the equipped survivor to see the auras of injured or downed survivors within a certain radius. Survivors wishing to increase their altruism can use this perk to find other survivors in need and help them.

  • Level 1 - Auras of downed and injured allies are shown within a 64 meter range
  • Level 2 - Auras of downed and injured allies are shown within a 96 meter range
  • Level 3 - Auras of downed and injured allies are shown within a 128 meter range

Players should note that they do not need to equip these specific perks and the only thing differentiating survivors other than aesthetics are the perks. If a player wants Claudette's perks, but the aesthetics of another survivor, they can max out Claudette first so the perks can go to other playable characters.
