There's no doubt that plenty of horror game fans have stuck with Dead by Daylight since its official launch back in 2016, as Behaviour Interactive and Starbreeze Studios have kept the title flush with content well after its release. Now, the publisher and developer are set to provide even more for players to do by revealing a brand new trailer for Chapter 10 of the asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game, dubbing the new content "Darkness Among Us".

As seen in the launch trailer below for Dead by Daylight's Darkness Among Us, the DLC is set to drop on December 11, 2018, and fans of the game are introduced to the game's first human Killer, which is technically a group of four friends who turn homicidal, calling themselves The Legion. As usual, a new Survivor is being added into the mix, too, with Jeff Johansen becoming a playable figure.

In addition to the The Legion and Jeff Johansen's eventual arrival into Dead by Daylight, Darkness Among Us will also introduce a new map called Mount Ormond Resort, which resides in Ormond, Canada. Once a remote ski town with idyllic slopes, the area has become a deforested graveyard where gangs and teenagers roam the lands looking to stir up some trouble.

Beyond Dead by Daylight's Darkness Among Us DLC, the game will also be aiming to migrate from a peer-to-peer network to dedicated servers on all platforms by the end of summer 2019. Hopefully this will provide the title with even more stability going forward so that the developer can focus the majority of its efforts on keeping Dead by Daylight pumped with new content. After all, it's the consistent updates from Behaviour Interactive and Starbreeze Studios that have helped Dead by Daylight become one of the best modern horror games in recent memory.

Dead by Daylight's Darkness Among Us DLC is set to release on December 11, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
