With over 200 achievements to get through, Dead by Daylight players looking to 100% complete the game certainly have a massive challenge ahead of them. Some are relatively simple, or naturally occur during regular gameplay. However, some Dead by Daylight achievements will challenge players and force them to perform at the top of their game, acting as a true test of skill.

Some of these daunting achievements will put even the most seasoned players to the test, and can take several months to complete. Whether players prefer to play as Killer or Survivor, there are some notoriously difficult achievements for both.

10 Legendary Survivor

Dead by Daylight Haddie Doing Totem-2

Legendary Survivor is relatively simple; players must reach the online Survivor grade of Iridescent I. This is the highest grade in the game, and is a huge achievement for players hitting the rank for the first time.

Unfortunately, the achievement is more about how much time a player can sink into the game, as opposed to skill. The more time played means the more the player will level up. As well as this, the grades reset every month, so players only have a short space of time to race to the top.

9 Legendary Killer

This achievement requires players to hit Iridescent I in the Killer ranks. Legendary Killer is slighter more difficult to achieve than Legendary Survivor, as the player is solely responsible for their victories, with no teammates to carry them. Players finally reaching the top rank for the first time certainly have something to celebrate about, and it can be a real defining moment for any Dead by Daylight player.

The downside of this achievement is that it more so revolves around how much time players spend on the game, as opposed to a true judgment of skill. Nonetheless, it can be quite a feat for casual players, and certainly is one of the more difficult achievements in the game.

8 Power Moves

Dead by Daylight Nea and Vittorio-2

Power Moves requires players to repair a full generator, escape 8 times in a public match, all whilst having no perks equipped. This achievement is particularly nasty for players in higher ranks, where meta perks are almost a must to win, never mind having no perks whatsoever.

Players looking to get this achievement need to be at the top of their game, and should bring the best items they can to help them along the way. This achievement will be easiest for players in lower ranks, where the games are a bit more relaxed and casual - as long as their teammates are pulling their weight, they have a solid chance to succeed.

7 Collision Course

Dead by Daylight - Wesker Throwing

Collision Course is an achievement specific to Albert Wesker, The Mastermind. It requires players to slam one Survivor into another ten times. Unfortunately, this achievement requires the player to get pretty lucky, and find multiple Survivors clumped together at once. The easiest way to collide two Survivors together is in a tight space or corridor, where there isn't much room to run.

Players who frequently play Wesker are bound to unlock the achievement eventually, but for those looking to 100% the game, and aren't too familiar with his play style, may find themselves struggling a bit more.

6 Skilled Huntress

Dead by Daylight The Huntress

Players wanting this achievement will have to ready their aim. The Skilled Huntress achievement involves downing Survivors 20 times using The Huntress' Hatchets, from more than 24 meters away. This achievement has plenty of variables that make it pretty tough, and these include objects the Hatchet could collide with, the player's ping verses the Survivor's ping, Survivor hit boxes, and the player's general skill level.

Less experienced players in particular may struggle with this achievement, as it takes a lot of practice to get good at hitting shots with Hatchets, never mind trying to hit them from a distance.

5 From The Void, She Kills

Dead by Daylight The Nurse

The Nurse is an incredibly controversial Killer in Dead by Daylight. In the right hands, she can decimate a team quite easily. However, she can be difficult to pick up, especially for players on console. This achievement requires players to chain 3 or more of her blinks onto a Survivor, and grab them off an item, such as a Generator or Totem.

For players to successfully achieve this, they need to be in the right place at the right time, and be comfortable aiming The Nurse's blinks. It can be quite difficult to learn, and even tougher to perfect, which is why this achievement is so challenging.

4 Adept David

Dead by Daylight David Injured

Along with all the other Survivor Adept achievements, players must escape with their selected character using only their 3 unique perks, in a public match. Unfortunately, David has one of the worst perks in the game: No Mither. The perk makes players start the game in the Injured life state, and also applies the Broken status effect, meaning they can't heal back to the Healthy life state for the entire game.

This is a huge handicap for the player, and can be particularly difficult for those who don't feel particularly comfortable being so vulnerable for the entire game.

3 Left For Dead

Dead by Daylight - Artist Mori

Left For Dead is such a challenging achievement because it's incredibly inconvenient for the player. As the only person left alive, the player must activate the last generator, then escape through the exit gate. Usually, when the player is the only Survivor left standing, they would quit working on generators and go look for the hatch to escape. There could be up to 5 generators still left to complete that the player would somehow have to do on their own, without being caught by the Killer.

Additionally, if the player does decide to try to finish the generators, the Killer could find and close the hatch, which would start the Endgame Collapse. From this point on, the player would only have a few minutes to finish their generators, and somehow make it to the exit gate, all without being caught by the Killer. The achievement has a lot of variables to consider, and is easily one of the toughest in Dead by Daylight.

2 Outbreak Breakout

Dead by Daylight Survivors Leaving Exit Gate-2

Outbreak Breakout sounds like a pretty simple achievement; on the Raccoon City Police Department map, players need to open the exit gates and escape 20 times in public matches. However, the Raccoon City map is particularly difficult to navigate for players who don't know it too well, making it more challenging to finish all the generators.

Additionally, the player needs to be the one who opens the exit gates, so if their teammates beat them to it, it's tough luck. Finally, Raccoon City is one of many maps in Dead by Daylight, and unless the player has plenty of map offerings to get there, this achievement could take them a while.

1 Evil Incarnate

Dead by Daylight Michael Myers

Evil Incarnate is widely viewed among the Dead by Daylight community as one of the most difficult achievements to get. It requires the player to kill all four of the Survivors as Michael Myers whilst in Tier III of Evil Within. This might sound pretty easy, but the key word is kill, not sacrifice. This means the player can't eliminate the Survivors via a hook, and must instead mori each one individually, using the Judith's Tombstone add-on.

Unfortunately, Survivors can counter this pretty easily, by hopping into a locker. As a result, the Killer will be unable to mori them, and instead will have to pick them out of the locker and hook them, or leave them on the ground to bleed out. This is what makes this achievement so challenging - it is often out of the player's hands whether they can actually complete it or not.

Dead by Daylight is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS.
