It’s no secret that the DCEU has struggled over the years to find the right formula for their films. The quality of the movies range from average to great, but even with some engaging storylines, they haven’t quite reached the level of success the MCU has.

Most of the heroes have uncertain futures in the DCEU, and if that's the case for the heroes, then there are villains that might not ever make it to the big screen. Some have appeared in DC movies before the DCEU; meanwhile, others haven’t had the chance to shine. Here are some who may never get appear in all their evil glory.

10 Two-Face

Two-Face Batman DC villain Harvey Dent

Two-Face is one of the most well-known villains from Batman. Like the series' hero, he doesn’t have any superpowers, but he’s managed to make a name for himself nonetheless. He makes important decisions by flipping a coin — one is side normal; the other, scarred. Woe falls to anyone if the coin lands on the scarred side.

Despite how iconic he is, chances of seeing Two-Face in the DCEU are extremely low. He’s already had his time in the spotlight thanks to The Dark Knight, even the film is not in the DCEU itself. Other villains, like The Joker and Ra’s al Ghul, have a bigger impact in Batman’s overall story.

9 Solomon Grundy

Solomon Grundy DC villain comic

A villain that sometimes appears as an anti-hero, Solomon Grundy can be one of the deadliest fighters because he’s almost impossible to kill. He started off as a villain for Alan Scott/Green Lantern, but has since become a villain to other heroes like Superman, Batman, and the Flash.

Though he plays an important role in these stories, seeing him won’t be happening anytime soon. Compared to other villains like Darkseid and Reverse-Flash, Solomon Grundy seems more like an everyday threat rather than a worldwide threat.

8 Bizarro

Bizarro Injustice 2 DC villain Superman

This Superman villain was created by none other thanSuperman’s archnemesis, Lex Luthor. Bizarro is an imperfect clone of the Man of Steel, but he is still a pretty tough opponent. Unfortunately, with the future of Superman in the DCEU up in the air, the chances of seeing Bizarro on the big screen have gone from slim to none.

Even if a reboot were to happen, Bizarro would be competing for screentime are other big names like Lex Luthor, Zod, and Doomsday. It's unlikely fans will see this character on the big screen.

7 Scarecrow

Scarecrow Injustice 2 Batman DC villain

Another notorious villain from the Batman series, Scarecrow is a deranged professor who loves employing toxins and psychological tactics against those who oppose him. He’s not after wealth or fame, but does all of this for “research.” He may not look intimidating, but he is an expert in hand-to-hand combat and can transform into a large monster called Scarebeast.

As fascinating as he is to watch, seeing him in the DCEU might be out of the question. Like Two-Face, he’s had his time on the big screen, appearing in Batman Begins. Meanwhile, other popular villains from the series have yet to appear, so Scarecrow will probably be at the bottom of the lineup.

6 Atrocitus

Atrocitus Injustice Green Lantern DC villain

The leader of the Red Lantern Corps, Atrocitus is powered by rage. He might seem like a mindless rage-filled being, but he is very intelligent and isn’t corrupted by the energy that his Red Lantern ring emits. He could control the corruption the ring has on his followers, but chooses not to.

It would be great to see Atrocitus on the big screen, but Green Lantern has yet to appear in the DCEU. Without him, Atrocitus’ appearance seems more like a fantasy than a reality.

5 Clayface

Clayface DC villain comic

There are quite a few people who share the name “Clayface,” most of whom are enemies of Batman. Regardless of who bears the title, Clayface is a deadly villain. Some can mimic the DNA of others, shapeshift, voiceshift, or can melt people by just looking at them.

The chances of seeing any of the Clayfaces in a film are slim to none. They aren't the biggest threat, and there are plenty of other Batman villains that have deeper stories with the caped crusader.

4 Brainiac

Brainiac Injustice 2 Superman DC villain

One of the strongest villains in DC, Braniac isn't just highly intelligent but can also match Superman in physical strength. He’s able to understand various technologies and engineering and boasts psychic abilities.

Seeing Brainiac in the DCEU would be a treat, but there’s a very small chance of ever seeing him. So far there don't seem to be any plans for Superman to return in any future films, which pushes Brainiac’s chance of a big screen debut further away.

3 Grid

Grid Injustice 2 DC villain

He may seem a little small when compared to other villains, but Grid is quite the deadly foe. A sentient computer virus that was created from Cyborg’s old parts, all Grid wants is one thing: emotions. Being a robot, Grid isn’t able to feel any emotion and would like to experience it himself.

However, Ray Fisher’s departure from Warner Bros. makes his appearance in the DCEU unlikely. With no plans for another actor to pick up the mantle, Grid is probably not going to be seen for a long time.

2 Morgaine Le Fey

Morgaine Le Fey Justice League DC villain

A sorceress gifted in the black magic arts, Morgaine hasn’t made a huge impact in the comics when compared to villains like Darkseid or The Joker. She’s gone up against Wonder Woman a few times, mostly in attempts to to steal her immortality and beauty.

Morgaine pops up only sporadically in the comics, so the chances of her appearing in the DCEU are practically nonexistent. Most likely, future films will focus on more widely-known villains before Morgaine.

1 Crime Syndicate Of America

Crime Syndicate of America DC villain comic

The evil version of the Justice League, these villains are similar to their counterparts, but have some differences in their backstories, appearances, and powers. Compared to the Justice League, the Crime Syndicate of America is unhinged and chaotic. Owlman (the evil counterpart of Batman) has been known to use his plans to counterattack his teammate’s abilities. Superwoman (evil Wonder Woman) is married to Ultraman (evil Superman), yet has had countless affairs with Owlman that her husband knows about.

Seeing this squad fight against the Justice League would be amazing to watch; however, there don't appear to be any current plans for the Justice League in the DCEU. The Crime Syndicate of America might not be big time villains, but a classic good version vs. evil version would be been a great sight to see. Yet, it may never appear, since the future of most of the DCEU heroes is up in the air.
