In a 30 second clip shared to YouTube, Dimensional Ink Games and WB Games announces the 10-year celebration of the long-running MMO will feature a giveaway of over $50 worth of in-game materials for players from now until the end of the month. This includes the Paradox Gazer combat pet, a new gear suit in the style of Shim'Tar Regalia, a free character advance to CR290, two brand new 10th anniversary emblems, and a fireworks trinket and aura.
Celebrating a decade in existence, DC Universe Online still boasts frequent expansions and events and an active player base regularly in the thousands, across multiple platforms. The combination of understanding how to maintain an MMO, strong connections to both the source material and cross-media offerings, and a development team who genuinely cares about the game and fanbase has ensured the survival of this game over several years and console generations.
