The Ghost Rider has a long history and several manifestations such as Johnny Blaze, Noble Kale, Danny Ketch, Alejandra Jones, Robbie Reyes, The Cosmic Ghost Rider (Frank Castle), and the original Ghost/The Rider who rode a Woolly Mammoth. One name not found on this list, however, is Deacon St. John, the protagonist of Days Gone.

Days Gone is one of the many PS4 exclusives to grace this generation, but also one slept on in comparison to bigger names like God of War. Recently, though, one player known as Mandrayke on Reddit decided to check the game out and a bug inadvertently turned Deacon St. John into a mock version of the Ghost Rider.

Mandrayke accidentally stepped on a molotov, somehow setting his head and just his head ablaze. Not the bike, cutscenes, reloads, or anything seems to be affecting it, which appears to be the case for all who have experienced. Reports of this bug date as far back as January 2020, but it somehow remains unfixed. Unfortunately, while this Days Gone bug is hilarious, not quite all of them pack the same punch.

Days Gone may not be Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man, or God of War, but it is a solid addition to the PS4 exclusive lineup, one that just happens to stand in the shadow of giants. What this means is that Days Gone 2 is almost gauranteed, and there's a lot of things a sequel could explore. One must-have would be a ton of bug fixes, though, unless the developer truly intends for Deacon to be the next Ghost Rider.

Days Gone is out now on PS4.
