Darksiders Genesis takes players back to the post-apocalyptic world full of angels and demons fighting each other in an attempt to take over the world. In this spin-off, two Horsemen of Apocalypse, War and Strife team up to stop the forces of Hell led by Lucifer. Players can switch between either horseman when playing single-player mode, or have one of their friends control one character in co-op mode. Each horseman offers a different playstyle; War excels at melee combat while Strife is a sharpshooter with a plethora of ranged attacks.

Darksiders Genesis has a lot of challenging bosses that the players must beat in order to restore balance to the realm. There are five main bosses and a bunch of minor bosses that pose a serious threat to the horsemen. The main bosses include Mammon, Belial, Astarte, Dagon, and Moloch. Moloch is the final boss of Darksiders Genesis, and being the final boss of the game, this is going to be the most difficult fight for players, but it’s not impossible. Those who are having trouble defeating the final boss of the game follow this boss guide to understand how to beat Moloch in Darksiders Genesis.

Fighting Moloch in Darksiders Genesis

First of all, players need to understand the movement and attack patterns of this powerful demon. Once players recognize his attacks, it’s time to dodge because he does a lot of damage which players can not afford. Players need to keep an eye on his movement, and their character’s health points. The best way to stay safe against Moloch is to remain in the middle of the arena and avoid getting cornered by him. If players get cornered, then it’s game over because Moloch won’t let players escape once they are close to a wall.

Players need to constantly avoid his attacks and kite him in the middle of the arena while taking advantage of every opening to attack him. Since players need to hit hard, it’s recommended to pick War because he does the most damage out of both horsemen, but in the co-op mode players can also utilize Strife’s range and speed to melt the boss quickly. In the second phase of the battle, Moloch will use AOE (Area of Effect) attacks, which can be avoided by jumping over them. Throughout the battle, make sure always to recover health points whenever possible, it’s much better to use Chaos/Anarchy whenever they are fully charged as it will deal massive damage to Moloch and heal the horsemen. Once the final boss is defeated, players will return to the Void to watch the final cut-scene.
