Darksiders 3 puts the player in the role of yet another Horseman of the Apocalypse, this time Fury, as she attempts to round up the Seven Deadly Sins. The game takes place at the same time as Darksiders 2, the game in which the Horseman of Death is put through his own mythical trials and tribulations thanks in part to the demon Absalom.

Each Darksiders game is an action RPG, meaning, among other things, that the player character can gather and wear different armors throughout the game. There are several armor sets in Darksiders 3, but how is each one obtained?

10 The Base Armor

This is the armor that Fury starts the game wearing. It doesn't give any bonuses in its base form, but it can be upgraded with Oblivion Ore. After that upgrade, the Base Armor gives Fury additional health and boosts her physical, Arcane physical, and Arcane damage output.

There is also a different set of armor that a player could get by pre-ordering Darksiders 3 that looks different to the Base Armor but has the same stats and bonuses.

9 Flame Hollow Armor

Darksiders 3

The Flame Hollow Armor is the first and cheapest of the four Hollow Armor sets that Fury can obtain. Each of the Hollow sets grants a boost to Fury's corresponding Arcane damage type as well as improving physical damage reduction and the number of Lurchers that the Horseman can find hiding inside crystals.

The Flame Hollow Armor, naturally, gives an increase to Fury's Flame Arcane damage stat. It can be purchased from Vulgrim for 10,000 souls after Fury defeats Wrath of the Seven Deadly Sins.

8 Storm Hollow Armor

Darksiders 3

The next variety of Hollow Armor is the Storm Hollow Armor, which boosts Fury's Storm Arcane damage as well as giving the physical damage reduction and the increase to Lurchers found in crystals.

This one can be purchased from Vulgrim as well, this time for 20,000 souls after defeating Avarice of the Seven Deadly Sins.

7 Force Hollow Armor

Darksiders 3

Now comes the Force Hollow Armor, which increases the damage dealt by Fury's Force Arcane and the aforementioned boost to physical damage reduction and the number of Lurchers found by shattering crystals.

The Force Hollow Armor can be obtained from Vulgrim for 30,000 souls after defeating Lust of the Seven Deadly Sins.

6 Stasis Hollow Armor

Darksiders 3

As a Hollow armor type, the Stasis Hollow Armor boosts Fury's Stasis Arcane damage as well as granting a physical damage reduction and increases the number of Lurchers she gains from shattering crystals throughout the world. It is the last of the four Hollow Armors that Fury can obtain.

The Stasis Hollow Armor can be purchased from Vulgrim after defeating Gluttony of the Seven Deadly Sins for a total of 40,000 souls.

5 Raiment Of Armageddon

Darksiders 3

The Raiment of Armageddon is a set that boosts Fury's physical and Arcane damage output while also making it easier for her to find Lurchers inside enemies and shattered crystals. It seems to be outfitted for the purpose of tracking down Lurchers in greater numbers.

Unfortunately for Fury, the Raiment of Armageddon is a gift by the Makers that can only be obtained by beating an Armageddon playthrough, which is Darksiders 3's version of New Game Plus. Fury gets to keep all her gear and upgrades, but the game will be a little harder on each run. After the first Armageddon run, Fury gets the Raiment of Armageddon.

4 Chaos Bringer's Armor

Darksiders 3 - Fury in Chaos Bringer's Armor

The Chaos Bringer's Armor is a set modeled after the Horseman of War, the main character in the original Darksiders game. It is a melee-oriented armor set, boosting Fury's physical damage output, physical damage resistance, and her total health.

The Chaos Bringer's Armor requires that the player has access to The Crucible DLC. Then, Fury must make it through 50 waves in the Crucible and purchase the Chaos Bringer's Armor from Kargon, Keeper of the Crucible, for 60 tokens.

3 Reaper's Shadow Mail

Darksiders 3

The Reaper's Shadow Mail is an armor set modeled after the Horseman of Death, the main protagonist of Darksiders 2. It boosts Arcane damage, health regeneration, and the number of Lurchers that can be farmed from killing an enemy.

Unlocking the Reaper's Shadow Mail also necessitates that players purchase The Crucible DLC. It requires Fury to fight through Wave 75 and then use 60 tokens to purchase the Reaper's Shadow Mail from Kargon.

2 Panoply Of Champions

Darksiders 3 - Fury in Panoply Of Champions armor

The Panoply of Champions is the final armor set that can be purchased from Kargon, Keeper of the Crucible in The Crucible DLC. Fury must make it through all 100 Waves of the Crucible and use 60 tokens to purchase the armor from Kargon.

The Panoply of Champions gives Fury an 11-22% Havoc generation per minute (depending on how much the armor has been upgraded), increases how long the Horseman can stay in her Havoc form, and the amount of Wrath gained from killing Lurchers.

1 Abyssal Armor

darksiders 3 Abyssal Armor

The Abyssal Armor is an armor set that has been in all Darksiders titles, and so it is available to Fury in the third game. However, it's not in the base game; the player must have access to the Keepers of the Void DLC in order to obtain the Abyssal Armor.

After beating Ionos at the end of the Keepers of the Void, Fury goes to confront the demon Vulgrim. After a very heated discussion between Vulgrim and Fury, Vulgrim gives Fury the Abyssal Armor to keep her from killing him. It is easily one of the best armors Fury can get in Darksiders 3, as it boosts all of her stats by a large amount and can be upgraded further with Oblivion Ore in New Game+
