The Dark Souls games are considered to be some of the hardest in modern gaming. Completing a Souls title in and of itself is difficult, but many fans have taken to completing the demanding Dark Souls games with additional challenges. If there was a prize for who could beat the games under the craziest circumstances, one streamer may have officially won.

Dark Souls 3 may be the easiest of the Souls games, but it is still extremely hard. One Twitch streamer named Luality did something that seems darn near impossible. Luality beat Dark Souls 3 with a level 1 character using a dance pad.

Fans have been using Dance Dance Revolution pads, or something equivalent to that, to beat games as a fun challenge for quite some time. Recently a fan beat a difficult level in Destiny using a dance pad, but this Dark Souls 3 completion, using only a level 1 character, may be even more impressive.

In a video posted on Reddit, a clip of Luality's accomplishment is captured wonderfully. She seems genuinely thrilled with herself for taking down the final boss, and she should be, as Dark Souls 3 has some difficult bosses for sure. Just like the three heart challenge in Zelda, beating a Souls game with a level one character is a crazy task that fans like to attempt. Doing this with a dance pad on top of that is just ridiculous.

There are tons of tips to beat Dark Souls 3, though none would suggest using an oddball controller that impairs standard play and never leveling up. Luality's completion of the game under such circumstances, and any player who does something similar, is certainly different and cool.

There are a lot of Dark Souls memes that point to how insanely hard the games can be, as the community likes to poke fun at itself for just how challenging the titles are. That being said, players who enjoy the tactical and insanely difficult elements of the Souls games are in some ways from a different era. The Souls games can be compared to titles from the '80s and '90s, where guides and cheat codes were almost necessities. It's pretty neat to see the community continually challenging itself.

Dark Souls 3 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
