Gamers can now play The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan for free, without owning the game, it has been announced. The reviews of The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan were incredibly positive about its gameplay and its story, and this free pass allows friends to enjoy that together.

On Twitter, The Dark Pictures said that owners of The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan will be getting another free Friend's Pass allowing a friend to play through the game for free. The pass will only work until May 1, but the game isn't that long and can easily be completed before then.

The Friend's Pass offer is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. To work, the friend needs to have downloaded the Trial version of the game on the same platform. Players can use the Multiplayer Shared Story mode to use the pass, though publisher Bandai Namco has also created a video showing gamers how to do it. On Twitter, The Dark Pictures also says that the Friend's Pass allows players to enjoy one full playthrough of the game. There are multiple endings in The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan so friends won't get to see all of them when using the pass.

The Friend's Pass is a great way for friends to hang out and play The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan together. However, it's also a good way of getting into the series before developer Supermassive Games releases The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, which is the next game in the series.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
