Marvel's highly-anticipated Disney+ continuation to the Netflix Daredevil series just added some new names to its roster. The upcoming series, titled Daredevil: Born Again, has already gotten the hype train rolling, and these new cast members are sure to help things along.

Currently, the cast is the main bit of info revealed about the new revival series, and it's already pretty stacked. Daredevil: Born Again will feature Charlie Cox returning to the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil, with Vincent D'Onofrio also back in his fan-favorite role as the menacing and clever Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. Michael Gandolfini, who recently played a young Tony Soprano in The Sopranos prequel The Many Saints of Newark, will also appear in the new show.

But now, two new faces have joined the fray. Deadline reports that Margarita Levieva and Sandrine Holt have joined the cast of Daredevil: Born Again in currently unknown roles. But while nothing has been confirmed, the source speculates that they may play love interests for the series' respective leads. There's currently no word on whether one of them will replace Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page or play an entirely separate part in the story.

A Russian-born actress, Levieva has appeared prominently in shows like The Blacklist and The Deuce, the latter of which saw her play one of the show's leads, Abby Parker. She currently stars in Netflix's In From the Cold as Jenny Franklin. Meanwhile, the British-Canadian Holt boasts an impressive resume of her own, recently seen in The Expanse and Better Call Saul. She's perhaps best known as Gillian Cole in Netflix's House of Cards.

The main details behind Daredevil: Born Again are still under wraps, though Cox has said that it won't act as Daredevil season 4. This could mean that either it will tell a separate story with the same characters, or even that the Netflix series will no longer be canon. It's unclear how such a decision would be received by fans. But given the positive response to Cox's return as Matt Murdock in both Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk, where he got to be Daredevil again, maybe audiences will just be happy to see the character in action one more time.

However things turn out, it's clear that Marvel is putting a lot of effort into Daredevil: Born Again. Clearly, the character's popularity hasn't diminished since the Netflix days. Here's hoping the Disney+ series can recapture the magic.

Daredevil: Born Again is currently set to release in 2024 on Disney+.
