Long-time James Bond actor Daniel Craig has received one of the industry's most sought-after honors. Following the recent release of No Time to Die, Craig has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in California.

No Time To Die's recent release adds to the list of well over twenty James Bond films that have already been created. Craig has played James Bond, the protagonist of No Time to Die, since 2006. Craig has continued to find success in countless projects outside of the British spy, including Rian Johnson's popular whodunit, Knives Out.

Craig's newest Hollywood accolade can be found outside 7007 Hollywood Boulevard. The address serves as a reference to Bond's spy code number. In light of this award, Craig joked that "it's an honor to be walked all over in Hollywood." The location of Craig's star is only a few feet away from Sir Roger Moore, who played the British spy from 1973 to 1985. In addition to Moore, Craig joins Pierce Brosnan, David Niven, and Barry Nelson, who have all portrayed Bond at some point over the course of their career. Craig went on to say that "if happiness was measured by the company we keep, then me being on this pavement surrounded by all of these legends makes me a very, very, very happy man."

Since his debut as 007 in 2006, Craig has starred in five James Bond films: Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and most recently, No Time to Die. The last of those is Craig's final performance as James Bond, leading many to wonder who will carry the torch after him. Craig's final performance in No Time to Die has already helped the film achieve a stunning accolade as the Bond film to have the highest-grossing opening weekend in the UK. Craig already holds the record for the highest-grossing Bond film of all time, with the 2012 production, Skyfall.

At the ceremony, Craig was introduced by producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, who have served as producers on all five of Craig's Bond films. They were joined by Academy Award winner Rami Malek, who plays Craig's nemesis Safin in No Time to Die. Malek won his Academy Award back in 2019 for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

Now that Craig's time as Bond has come to a close, he is far from done when it comes to adding notable roles to his resume. Craig will next be seen in the second installment of Johnson's mystery Knives Out to reprise his role as Detective Benoit Blanc. Netflix recently acquired the rights to produce two sequels to the mystery film that took the world by storm following its 2019 release. The film landed Johnson an Academy Award Nomination for Best Original Screenplay. The sequel is set to premiere in 2022. Following the colorful cast of the first film, Craig will now be joined by Leslie Odom Jr., Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick, Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Ethan Hawke, and Edward Norton.
