Dancing With The Stars is one of the most enjoyed TV shows on ABC that has brought the house down with thirty-one seasons. The show puts together a competition where beloved stars and socialites pair up with masters in the art of ballroom dance and go head-to-head for the prize and bragging rights.
Each week, contestants must learn a dance routine from scratch and wow the crowds and the judges in order to move forward in the competition or get sent packing. Over the show's lengthy duration, there have been numerous winners who left it all on the dance floor and had their hands raised at the end of the night, but only a handful captured the hearts of viewers all over the world.
10 Jennifer Grey – Season 11
In season eleven of Dancing with the Stars, the competition was as fierce as ever. Celebrity powerhouses such as former NBA all-star Rick Fox, and singer-songwriter Michael Bolton, showed up to show out.
There were several masterful performances throughout the season, but Jennifer Grey and her partner, Derek Hough, took the trophy home. Derek Hough is a brilliant dancer and complemented Jennifer Grey's elegance on the dance floor. Their combined performance to "Do You Love Me" by the Contours left the audience in full applause.
9 Kristi Yamaguchi – Season 6
Two-time world champion and Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi took to the stage easily thanks to her figure skating background. The entire roster of competitors was stacked, but Kristi rose above fan favorites like Shannon Elizabeth from American Pie and R & B singer Mario.
Yamaguchi wowed the crowd alongside her partner Mark Ballas, who had nothing but good things to say about her skills. Kristi gave her all and showed how much effort really makes a difference in her skillful portrayal of the Cha Cha Cha to "Please Don't Stop The Music" by Rihanna.
8 Donny Osmond – Season 9
The Osmond family is no stranger to success and stardom as they have been a prominent group within the show business for over sixty years. The Osmonds were a family band that performed all across the world that consisted of five brothers.
Donny Osmond was the youngest of his brothers and eventually became the group's frontman, and went on to have an illustrious solo career. In season nine of Dancing With the Stars, Osmond was paired with Kym Johnson and blew the judges away with their well-put-together performance.
7 Emmit Smith – Season 3
Season fifteen of Dancing with the Stars had a fantastic lineup of competitors, with award-winning actress Christie Alley as well as Joey Fatone of NSYNC. Judges had their work cut out for them as each contestant came to give it their all, and there was no slacking on the dance floor throughout the entire season.
However, it was former NFL running back for the Dallas Cowboys, Emmit Smith ,who brought his A-game and hit the stage with style and presence. Smith and partner Cheryl Burke commanded respect every time the music started and tangoed all the way to victory.
6 Rumer Willis – Season 20
The competition was intense on season twenty of Dancing With Stars with big names such as the legendary Patti LaBelle, Redfoo from LMFAO, and Glee star Riker Lynch. Each pair of dancers displayed surprising skill every week, showing how hard the judges had it to decide who would win every night.
However, it was Rumer Willis who took the trophy home in this installment with her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy. She proved that she has every bit of stage presence as her mother and father, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis.
5 Amber Riley – Season 17
Amber Riley took to the stage with elegance and contagious energy, wowing the crowds and the judges with her smooth moves and power on the dance floor. Amber Riley comes from mainstream fame as she was a popular cast member of the sensational music series Glee.
Amber had her work cut out for her. Corban Blue from High School Musical was close behind her, and other powerhouse names like Snooki from Jersey Shore and Bill Nye the Science Guy also made appearances. Amber Riley partnered with veteran Derek Hough and knocked it out of the park in every performance.
4 Apolo Anton Ohno – Season 4
Season four of Dancing with the Stars would kick off with some welcomed returns, new faces, and surprising performances as each contestant pushed the envelope further and further with each of their performances.
However, famous speed skater Apollo Ohno and his partner, Julian Hough, rose above the rest to make their mark on the stage with spectacular chemistry and poise. Ohno stood out for his excellent moves on the dance floor, which impressed the judges, as well as his eccentric song choices.
3 Jordan Fisher – Season 25
Season twenty-five of Dancing with the Stars was met with huge names that filled the entire roster. Fan favorite Award-winning singer and songwriter Nick Lachey appeared with Peta Murgatroyd, while WWE wrestler and model Nikki Bella also showed her stuff with Artem Chigvintsev.
Violinist Lyndsey Sterling would make a strong charge for the winner's circle, but would come up short against Jordan Fisher, known for being Impulse on The Flash series. Fisher partnered with Lindsay Arnold and stayed glued to the spotlight through the entire season.
2 Meryl Davis – Season 18
Fans of all ages enjoyed season eighteen of Dancing with the Stars as actor Billy D. Williams (Star Wars), and singer and self-made superstar Cody Simpson made appearances. Both stars performed graciously, moving with rhythm and elegance, and were highly celebrated by fans all over the world.
But also among them was Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis, who brought showmanship and grace to every performance with her partner, Dancing with the Stars veteran Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Davis won the judge's hearts with her magnificent routine to Sam Smith's "Latch."
1 Alfonso Robeiro – Season 19
There have been many stars to come and go in each season of Dancing with the Stars, but none had such a spectacular roster as season nineteen. Tavis Smiley, Lea Thompson, and Tony Chong all appeared to give it their all and move the rhythm of the beat in order to impress the judges and win the competition.
However, another competitor was Alphonso Robeiro, a beloved actor and dancer most known for his role as Carlton Banks on the Fresh Prince of Bell-Air. Alfonso seemed on another level compared to his peers as he and his partner Witney Carson blew away the competition from start to finish.
