The latest episode of CD Projekt Red's Night City Wire revealed a ton of exciting new details regarding Cyberpunk 2077. Specifically, CD Projekt Red took the opportunity to share new information about one of Cyberpunk 2077's most important gameplay aspects. That being Night City's wide variety of vehicles, broken down into several vehicle classes. It's a showcase of some of Cyberpunk 2077's various motorcycles, cars, trucks, and everything in-between.

First up is Cyberpunk 2077's "Economy" class of vehicles. These are probably the vehicles the player can afford at the start of the game, before they've started building their Night City Empire. These are the Ford Fiestas of Night City. But just because they get good mileage doesn't mean they don't have their uses. For example, the smaller Makigai car that looks like a Smart Car or a Tuk Tuk is able to drive in areas where larger cars can't. The trailer even shows it climbing a stairwell.

Also in the Economy class, according to the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer, are a variety of more specific-use vehicles. For example, a police vehicle is shown briefly, though it seems unlikely the car was acquired legally. A worker's van is also shown, as is what looks like it could be a chop shop street racing car. The key connecting thread for all the Economy cars is that they're all well-used and often either beat up or pieced together.

The next class of vehicles is the Executive class, which is significantly more impressive just from a purely visual presentation. These look like the Audi, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce versions of vehicles in Night City. They're high-class, polished to perfection, and likely very expensive. The brands shown in-game include Villefort, Chevillon, and Delamain. These vehicles, in particular, look like they're well-suited for carrying multiple people.

Likely even more expensive than the Executive class is the Heavy Duty class. These are non-civilian class vehicles that look better suited for the military or construction work. Some look like futuristic versions of semi-trucks or dump trucks. There's even a truck that looks designed for transporting industrial waste. Needless to say, these vehicles are meant for power and sturdiness over speed.

The last two vehicle classes revealed in the Night City Wire trailer is the one most Cyberpunk 2077 players are going to be looking for in Night City. The Sport class of vehicles is all about speed and flashiness. Quadra, Mizutani, and other manufacturers provide vehicles meant for street racing and unconventional driving in the city. Hypercars are the flashier, looking more like concept cars than anything driveable. Odds are, though, they're going to be the most sought-after vehicles of all.

All these vehicles and more will be available on Cyberpunk 2077. Clearly, players will be able to pick a suite of vehicles that are optimal for their playstyle and personality, just like most other aspects of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases November 19 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
