Cyberpunk 2077's release date may be some time away, but the atmosphere surrounding the release of the game is electric. This is somewhat unsurprising considering the developer CD Projekt Red's last game, The Witcher 3, was one of the most acclaimed games on this generation of consoles. As anticipation for Cyberpunk 2077 heats up, more fan art has been produced, with a fan known as Hybra Art creating an incredible piece of work that combines Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher.

When The Witcher 3 was released, it truly pushed boundaries in world creation, and moving from fantasy to cyber-punk may not have been simple process, but one worthwhile. Many players are excited to see what kind of world CD Projekt Red can produce within a cyber future and how they will play on the tropes of the genre. Hybra Art has done a fantastic job of repositioning Ciri and Geralt from The Witcher into the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

It's fair to say that Geralt looks great. The samurai sword is a particularly nice touch changing up Geralt's usual knight-style weaponry. The visor and the authentic scenery behind really place Geralt in what would seem to be a realistic Cyberpunk visual. Many will hope that the rumors of CyberPunk 2077's photo mode will turn out to be true, so that they can capture their character in these kinds of locations. Ciri had a similarly impressive flash to the future.

Ciri's mechanical arm and her bright clothing against a rain-filled backdrop again illustrate how cool the Cyberpunk aesthetic can look. This incarnation of Ciri looks like she'd be at home in Cyberpunk 2077's recently revealed images of Night City. Either way, the work by Hybra Art is really impressive, and it'll be exciting to see what images the account produces in the future.

Many are eagerly awaiting the new CD Projekt Red game, and with this anticipation comes burning questions around Cyberpunk 2077. Whether players can customise their characters to look like Geralt and Ciri or at least look as good as them remains to be seen. Yet, many Witcher fans will likely attempt to recreate this incredibly detailed homage to the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases April 16, 2020, for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, while The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition will release on October 15 for the Switch. This title is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
