There are members of the gaming community that have been waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 for over eight years and in just fifteen days, the gaming community will finally be able to get their hands on it. However, for those looking to purchase the game on PC, they might be surprised to find some bonus exclusive content.

It's not uncommon for games to have content exclusive to certain platform releases. For example, the recent Marvel's Avengers had Spider-Man as a PlayStation exclusive character. Now, it seems the same principle will somewhat apply to Cyberpunk 2077 in that the PC version of the game comes with side stories and comics, along with other similar content.

For those not interested in waiting for a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S release of Cyberpunk 2077, the game will be available to purchase on PC through Steam and GOG. The Steam version of the game will include a short story called "2AM -- She Calls" written by story lead Tomasz Marchewka and a few additional pieces of content like exclusive avatars, posters, and a wallpaper used to customize the user's Steam profile.

Those that purchase the game through GOG Galaxy, however, will also receive a fifty-page digital comic called Cyberpunk 2077: Big City Dreams. This comic will presumably show up as a downloadable PDF after purchasing the game. Some may be surprised that Cyberpunk 2077 will be receiving exclusive content on Steam since GOG is a subsidiary of CD Projekt Red, but the comic might be for more diehard fans.

While exclusive content like this serves as an added incentive for players to purchase the game on certain platforms, some might be curious to know if any console versions might have exclusives. After all, Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing on a lot of different platforms, including Google Stadia, which gave Final Fantasy 15 additional challenges when it released earlier this year. At present, CDPR has not announced anything, but that could change as the launch gets closer.

In any case, the gaming community won't have to wait much longer before finally getting a chance to play Cyberpunk 2077. With CD Projekt Red assuring its investors that Cyberpunk 2077 will release on schedule, it seems that there is nothing left to do but wait. Only time will tell if the game manages to live up to the incredible expectations that many in the gaming community have set for it, though.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on December 10th, 2020 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions currently in development.
